Vintage Walking Cane Wooden Walking Stick Silver Brass Handle knob Black Wood Stick - Victorian Cane - Fancy Cane for Men and Women

This is really a nice walking stick to insure my balance on city sidewalks or in spacious museum halls. I wish rather to convey an air of dignity as I perambulate, than to look like a man crippled by age. Thus my choice of this stick as opposed to the typical wood or aluminum cane with the J-shape top. This walking stick is very sturdy, well made, and just as advertised. It arrived with more packaging than necessary, but I suppose this is to insure it arrives intact and undamaged. It comes in two parts : just screw them together for a tight and strong fit. I got numerous compliments on how nice it looks. The price is quite modest, really, for the quality in workmanship. I would offer only one suggestion to the manufacturer, and that is to have two tips -- the one as delivered, which is excellent for indoors on fine wood or marble floors; and a second for use outdoors over uneven ground or gravel. Possibly one other suggestion would be to have a small hanging cord affixed to a metal collar somewhere below the brass top to hang the stick on a coat tree or a wall hook. I am very pleased with this item.

I get lots of compliments and also my hips are both giving out one is almost near surgery, so I can’t fight like when I was younger , this cane has enough weigh on it to knock some bullies teeth out! It’s sad that if you’re a female you think about things like that, we live in a different world and it ain’t nice ! But I’m cane ready!!!

I purchased this cane for my son’s Halloween costume but was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It is very heavy-duty and feels extremely well made. It’s sturdy, and supportive and would be very helpful for someone who needs support. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable cane.

Very nice can for the price. The rubber is quick to wear down. Con: the larger rubber tip for outdoor use did not fit and it was so weak that it split apart when I tried to put it on. I'm probably going to look into the rubber tips for industrial ladder carts to replace since those come in black.

It is a beautiful cane

I would have given this five stars if the shaft had been straight. I don’t know how The person boxing it up at the factory did not notice. It is otherwise very stylish and looks well-made, if you don’t look too closely. It’s definitely sturdy. Worth the price, even with its faults.

Better than expected... very solid. The only downside was some small rubber pieces that looked as if they should go on the tip of the cane, but there were no instructions and they didn't appear to fit in any logical way. I threw them away. This is a small company made product and should be supported. I haven't had occasion to call customer support, but from the enclosed materials, it looks to be very good.
