I cannot recommend Calmoseptine Ointment enough—it is truly a lifesaver! My 2-year-old had a terrible stomach bug and suffered from diarrhea for four days, which left her poor skin extremely raw, tender, and irritated. Calmoseptine is one of the best things I ever used. Most women will understand having to wear any kind of pads, and especially bladder pads how the skin can get very sore. A nurse at my doctors office told me about this. They used to use it in hospitals. In fact the hospital nurse told my sister for her husband that this would work better than anything they sent home with them. It works for many skin issues for men and women. It is even for diaper rash, and works the best of anything I ever used for that. I am 76 years old so I have used many products over the years for myself and my family. This is one of the best. I have a tube in every bathroom and in my purse. My whole family uses it now. Dont be without it! Cheri

Fantastic product! I have 2 sons (2 year old and 7 month old). I've used it on both to help get rid of severe diaper rashes. My 7 month old was currently on antibiotics for an ear infection and ended up with a horrible diaper rash due to the diarrhea that followed. I would bathe his bottom at least once per day with diluted potassium permanganate(which is very commonly used medically in European countries) and would slather the Calmoseptine on after every bath and diaper change. It was a life saver!! The rash didn't worsen and disappeared within a couple days. Its very thick and stays on a lot better than any of the other diaper rash creams out there. That's especially nice when the baby has diarrhea and is constantly pooping. My 2 year old had a very similar rash when he was younger (also due to diarrhea) and I tried all the possible baby diaper rash creams out there; nothing helped. The rash kept worsening and eventually blistered. It was a very hellish week while I waited for the diarrhea to disappear. I finally discovered Calmoseptine after frantically searching the internet for some sort of relief for my son. At the same time my mother-in-law introduced me to potassium permanganate. His rash started healing and the blisters began to dry out as soon as I began to use the Calmoseptine combined with the potassium permanganate baths. (Just a side note, I purchase the potassium permanganate at a local European grocery store, however, I heard it might be possible to find it a pharmacy or have your doctor prescribe it. That along with the Calmoseptine is my go-to anytime a diaper rash is beginning to form.)

Good for diaper rash, shingles topical relief, intact males, anal fissure relic and additional skin protectant. Also has healing ingredients. *Four stars because of lack of clarity and transparency; as in the ingredient list “a suitable ointment base,” is very general and unclear as to what the ointment base ingredients are derived from? Is it petro chemicals? What are ALL of the actual ingredients? Some things used in the world (past & currently,) for ointment bases can promote worsening of some of these issues that Calmoseptine is widely used for, rather than heal or at the least protect. I still recommend it and am grateful it was recommended to me by word of mouth, I just would appreciate full actual ingredients. And if it is petro based, then I would LOVE for Calmoseptine to change that to not only one better for environment but better for us! Our skin absorbs just about everything into our bloodstream quickly and bypasses our bodies filtration system such as kidneys, liver, etc.

My pediatrician recommended this product to me years ago and it works well. I’ve used it with all three of my kids and their diaper rashes would get better by the next day! Definitely worth the money! Recommend to anyone who has a little one that gets a lot of diaper rashes!

Best product for under boob rash. I've tried a dozen products and nothing worked. This was recommended with some spray deodorant to prevent moisture. Finally something that worked!!! Also works for bug bites and irritated bum after dealing with travel diarrhea. It is thick and has a menthol tingle. Will always travel with this stuff in the future. Months later, I'm still loving this ointment. Works anywhere you have skin irritation. The menthol is a nice bonus. It does smell a bit weird but you don't notice it after you rub it in. Only takes a little.
