Tuscan Dairy Whole Vitamin D Milk, Gallon, 128 oz

I was looking for a book on Amazon - when I saw "Tuscan Milk". Honestly I thought it was a joke because of some of the sarcastic posts (and the fact that it was "milk" on amazon...c'mon. But the curiosity was killing me so I added it to my cart, clicked checkout and was on my way. When I saw the shipping was so high - I almost bailed - but still the curiosity won. I expected maybe to not get anything - or perhaps some card or toy with fake milk jug or something. Well - today there was a knock at the door. I open it up and there's a big cardboard box with "Tuscan Milk" on the label. I bring it in open it up and there is tons of insulation bubbles surrounding a styrafoam cooler. I cut the straps to the cooler and open it up. Now I'm realizing - this is really milk. The box was hot but inside the cooler was freezing cold. More insulation around the ice packs and I find the gallon of whole milk. I take it to the kitchen and immediately pour just a little into a sauce cup (just for a taste). Wow - just the best milk I've ever had. I should have never started on this skim and 1, 2% stuff. Good old whole milk and "Tuscan" is even better. I'll admit - it's probably not any different from any other Whole milk - but it did seem a bit more creamy and thick. The taste was fantastic and my wife keeps raving about how great the glass of ovaltine she had just was. I say - ration it baby - slow down. We are whole milk drinkers from now on - but we need Tuscan to make it's way to Salt Lake City - I'm not shipping it from NYC anymore at that price.

Having been dared to buy a narcotic laced milk, or so I have been lead to believe from other reviews, I only hope the cows that produce my milk will pump out the same quality of milk will be delivered to Arizona from New York before curtling. I HOPE that it will be cool and smooth at I put my mouth to the glass and indulge my self on $1.00 a sip. Maybe one day, cows like thos pumping out this great milk will start growing in the Southwest so to save on shipping, one can HOPE right! MMMMMmmmm milk had better do my body good!

Pros: White, well packaged, goes down smooth Cons: Did not survive a fall from 4 feet I ordered it Wednesday with 3 day delivery and Amazon had it waiting on my front door Friday evening when I got home from work. 3 day shipping and they got it here in 2. Amazon ROCKS!!! This was a big upgrade for my refrigerator. Even my wife likes it and she is not what you would call "Tech Savvy". She asked me the other day "How did we ever get along without Tuscan Whole?", I have to agree. I only gave it 4 stars because when one of the kids was getting it out of the refrigerator it fell from the upper shelf and splattered everywhere. I feel this should have been considered in greater detail during the engineering phase of product development. However, called Amazon technical support and they over-nighted a replacement. That is what I call "customer support"! Amazon ROCKS!! If you are looking to update your refrigerator for reasonable cost, Tuscan Whole will not disappoint! I would purchase again. Other Thoughts: My rig - Dual chamber design "side-by-side" with air cooled 590kWh power, the LT600P water filtration and crisper drawers (for controlling humidity). Includes separate "egg rack".

I am completely opposed to hyperbole and exaggeration when it comes to product reviews. A lot of reviews on here are just a little over the top. Please remember that when I say that there is no doubt in my mind that this milk represents the culmination of the biological, psychological, intellectual, and spiritual evolution of the human and bovine races. If it were revealed that the very existence of the human race was merely a mechanism to bring this milk into being, that my own life and the lives of all humans before me were designed by the almighty in order to bring about this liquefied perfection, I could die knowing my life was well spent.
