I have off‑the‑charts hard water, the kind that usually laughs at dishwasher detergents and leaves a cloudy film just to mock me. This powder? It works fantastically. No film left behind, no dull dishes, no weird residue — everything comes out clean without needing any boosters. One thing I love: it contains citric acid, which is amazing for hard water. I used to add citric acid separately to clean my dishwasher, but I don’t need to anymore. This detergent handles it all on its own. It’s fragrance‑free, plant‑based, and plastic‑free, which is exactly what I want. And despite being a powder, it dissolves perfectly and cleans better than half the “eco” detergents I’ve tried. Bonus tip for anyone using any dishwasher: Prop the door open when the cycle finishes. It helps the dishwasher dry out and keeps bacteria from getting cozy in there. Overall, this detergent does exactly what it claims — and it does it well. Five stars from me.

This might seem pricey, but it takes very little for one load. I am shocked at how clean and SHINY my dishes are!!!!!!!!!!!! No more toxic ingredients

I've been able to stop my really oily pans/skillets before loading the dishwasher. This soap cuts through tough grease without leaving a residue at all. Super easy, it only takes one scoop of the powder to get the job done. I'm also happy that it's made of natural and non-toxic ingredients. I'm highly impressed!! I can get rid of my Cascade. This is my new go to dishwasher detergent.

I never write reviews, but the fact that I am writing a review on a dishwashing powder says it all!! I absolutely LOVE this stuff, my dishes have never been cleaner with less effort.. I'll admit I even sometimes don't clean off the plates as well as I should before putting them in the dishwasher because I just KNOW they'll come out sparkling clean with this stuff. We have hard water too, and they're always shining! I love knowing that it's safe for me and my family, is good for the planet and just does EXACTLY what I need it to. When I ran out a while back I was so disappointed with having to use whatever I could find at the store. I'd take them out of the dishwasher and I'd be so upset, like I had to wash them again - there would be residue etc... but not with this stuff! I will buy for LIFE!!!!! And I've even went and bought more truly free products because this stuff has been convinced they know what they're doing!!!

I’ve tried other “clean” detergents, but this one has delivered the best results. Glassware is free of spots and streaks, and even plastic items are spot free (and relatively dry), even after a short cycle without heated dry. We don’t use a rinse aid, so to get spotless, dry dishes and zero chemical smell is huge. Another plus is all of the soap dissolves - other products we’ve tried have sometimes remained in the dispenser, or caused the door to jam. The price, considering the amount of product (25 washes/loads), is a bit high compared to other brands (e.g., 60 loads for about the same price), but the results seem to be worth it, and a subscription will help with the cost. A bonus for me is this is made in my home state of Michigan!

I was hesitant to try this but I read there is no residue leftover on dishes after using so many “clean” brands this was my concern. It didn’t leave a residue on my glasses, I love it. Now if they could just make it more affordable. 25 washes at 19 dollars is pricey. I might have to try branch basics as it’s more washes per bag. I do care about being non toxic and want to continue to buy this brand but the cost per load is not good.

This stuff has completely clean ingredients and cleans my dishes better than anything bi have ever tried!! I have tried other brands that are supposedly clean, such as 'Molly' and after trying them over and over and even trying 2 or 3 at a time my dishes never got clean!! It was like I was running my dishwasher without any soap! Then I saw these advertised as clean ingredients, I gave them a try and I am COMPLETELY SOLD!! My dishes have never been so clean! Plus it is a powder so no pods! My plumber said pods are bad for using in your dishwasher. These will most definitely not disappoint!!

We had just about given up on our dishwasher. I've tried so many detergents that didn't work and I was just tired of wasting money. It was really hard to squeeze a dishwasher into our little farm cottage kitchen and I was sad that my hard work was for nothing. I tried this detergent with a last gasp of hope. Our dishes had been coming out with a hazy layer of something that you could see and feel. I also use the expensive rinse agent. Anyhoots, I threw this detergent in not expecting anything good to come of it. The first load came out spotless. The glasses shined! I figured it was a fluke. I've done about 5 loads since then and only 1 wasn't exceptional. I'm still playing with how much to use. I wish I could hug whoever came up with this product. It really works.

This soap is amazing! I was using a toxic soap brand that was leaving residue on my dishes.. my glassware looked cloudy and no amount of washing was getting rid of it. First time I used this on a full dishwasher, used only 3/4 of the measuring spoon instead of the recommended 1 full spoon.. my dishes came out so clean, the film on the glasses was completely gone. I feel so comfortable now using my dishes, knowing I'm not consuming toxic stuff every time I drink water

This stuff is great ! Works as good (or better) as any detergent I’ve used before but without all the toxic garbage . Highly recommend!

The BEST, BEST, BEST powder dishwasher soap ever!!!! There is no chemical smell when you open up the machine after each wash. The dishes and silverware are always spotless and clean, no left over smudges or food. I will continue to buy this product.

Great product BUT packaging needs improvement. At this price I would have appreciated if the seal actually worked. Instead the bag is always open. Not the right kind or seal for a powder product.
