The product is mostly good (variety of sounds, ability to change the volume, choosing length of time to utilize) however, some of the sounds get crackly if played continuously and the batteries do *not* last very long (playing an hour at a time for 6 hours per day, I needed to change the batteries after a week because the sound wouldn't stay on. Still not sure if that's a glitch with the device but sofar changing the batteries seemed to help). If compared for use as a sleep aid (I use it for my job) chances are others will run into the same issues; I think in a month I'll have spent more in batteries than on the actual device...which of course is frustrating but you get what you pay for I suppose. (also the USB cord doesn't work).

I thought the whole thing was the speaker because there are little speaker looking holes on the whole surface. However the speaker is this tiny part of the device. This makes the sound really bad! I feel deceived! It's unfortunate there are companies out there like this trying to deceive us to make more money. This results in more environmental destruction because of all these crappy things that have to be thrown out now. Have some decency people!!

This is a surprisingly nice white noise machine for its size. Has a good selection of sounds and the size is great for travel. It's also nice that it can hang on your headboard/bed post - great for my daughter's dorm room. I do have to say that the sound quality is a bit more tinny than some, but it's not bad - and if portability and/or space-saving are important to you, you can't go wrong with this one. (At this price, it can even be your spare - for travel or when company comes.)

I bought this because I usually just my Google speaker for white noise to help me and my baby sleep. When traveling, I would have to use my phone and it would cut off in the middle of the night. I charged this fully when I bought it and have used it every night for the last 5 nights and it never turned off in the middle of the night. It's tiny and flat when laid on the table so my toddler hasn't messed with it yet. I can't attest to how this works long term because it's a recent purchase but I have to say I love it.

I bought this item to replace the heavy and bulky white noise machine my wife and I used for traveling. It's small size and light make it perfect for travel. The bulky one we used before, always had to go in our checked luggage, which limited the amount of shoes my wife could bring (Ha Ha- just joking ladies.) But really, this little thing fits anywhere, and despite its small size, it's sound is awesome. You can't go wrong with this item. My wife and I are always trying to downsize and be more compact when we vacation, and she told me this item was one of the best purchases I ever made...... You know what they say....Happy Wife, Happy Life!!

I live in the south and we are prone to power outages when hurricane season comes, winter freezes, etc. No one in my family can sleep with silence. We have all conditioned our sleep with white noise. Ha! I was looking for a battery operated noise machine which has been so hard to find. I found this one but didn’t have high hopes because it was so cheap and small. I was wrong! This little noise machine is amazing. I’ve bought one for each of us and we have all used them during power outages. We all keep them next to our bed and use them while traveling too. When we have had power outages and had to use batteries they don’t last long. Maybe 3 hours.. but that’s 3 hours more than I would have gotten without it. I wake up, pop some more batteries in, and go to sleep!

We used this while camping. We needed something that could run off battery to use in the tent for our almost 2 year old. My husband is just loud in general & I’m pregnant so I have to get up sometimes during the night to go to the bathroom. We just used the white noise sound so our daughter didn’t wake up from our noise or the other random noises & have trouble falling back asleep. This worked great & actually ran the whole night.

I've looked at a few of these things but decided to go with this one because one of the responses to a question was that it did play thunderstorm sounds... I've gone through all the different sounds and am not finding anything with thunder at all.. I wanted something with thunder and rain.Also the audio quality of the files it plays is pretty awful... They are all scratchy and distorted. The best rain sound sounds a lot like the white noise ones...Needless to say I am VERY disappointed in this product.. I guess at $15 I shouldn't have expected much... But for some simple high quality MP3s and a decent speaker they could have done MUCH better.At this point I'm thinking of just getting a decent 3.5mm jack speaker and buying a good audio clip for my phone.
