Can I expand the number of transmitters, so that there are three transmitters, each of which produces a unique bell-tone, in all three receivers?

Yes, you can add additional transmitters/receivers, and you just need to pair new transmitters or receivers to original doorbells one by one for a new code. Following below steps: 1. Pick the sound you want on one of receivers. 2. Press and hold the volume button on this receiver about 5 seconds, the receiver will blink with a "ding" sound and then immediately push one of the transmitters to pair with the receiver. Finally you will hear the music you set. The operation method is the same to pair other transmitters to receivers.

There are four levels of volume, we have ours set on the second one down. I thought the loudest one was too loud. Since there are three receivers, you can place them in various locations around your house, allowing it to be heard wherever you are.

Upgraded: Volume range is 0-110dB, 5 levels to set (0dB, 25dB, 60dB, 90dB, 110dB)

Does this work well for people whom have difficulty in hearing the sounds etc. Does it work with wireless without aby usage of battery? Thank you.

1.If you are having difficulty hearing, and are the one pushing the button to get help, that is OK. The hand held part, lights up. The big blue disk your press lights up completely. If you are having difficulty hearing, and are trying to listen for the call, you may have problems. There is a choice of selections for ring tone,, some may be louder than others. The receiver portion does not glow
