Works for my old campus car
When my ancient Honda started slipping between gears on the drive back to campus, I kinda panicked. My roommate told me to try this Lucas transmission fix before paying a shop. The bottle is small but I just followed the directions and poured it in after a quick Walmart run. shifting felt smoother after like two or three days of driving around town. I’m not pretending it cures everything, but for my broke college budget it’s nice. i can actually merge onto the highway now without the car freaking out, and that alone made me really glad I grabbed this.

It helps
The transmission on my 2003 Acura CL Type S sometimes "forgets" to downshift to 1st gear. After replacing the fluid, filters, and external solenoids, the "forgetting" still occurred. I eventually learned this indicates that gear's clutch is failing - the transmission will eventually need to be replaced. To delay the inevitable, I decided to try this additive. I didn't notice any difference at first. But after driving for a few weeks, the "forgetting" has become a rare occurrence. (I avoid full throttle in first gear because it always slips, even with the additive)

Lucas Trans fix
Lucas oil transmission fix does wonders for the longevity of your transmission. Add before you start having issue to keep it going strong but can be added after some problem arise. Frees up sticking valve and helps lubricate essential transmission components to prevent failure.

Nice for older cars
Now that we’re a one-car family and my minivan is pushing 150k miles, I grabbed this after seeing people rave about it online. The 24-ounce size feels generous. I’ve already used it twice and still have some left on the shelf. My husband laughed at the bright white bottle, but that silly pop of color actually helps me spot it fast in our cluttered garage. I poured it in before a busy week of school runs and grocery trips, and the shifting felt smoother on the same route. For a mom constantly in and out of the car, that little difference made me really glad I tried it.

Follow the instructions on a warm day
I used a bottle on my transmission and then drove 500 miles. Then I did a fluid exchange and drove another 500 miles and then another exchange and I added ludegard instant shudder fix and after 1000 miles my transmission no longer slips in 4th gear. It has 150k miles and had only one transmission service at 66k. I don't think my 2010 GX likes to go too long between services before it gets gummed up. This is hopefully a one time fix for me as I plan to service my transmission again at 180k. This is the process that some of the dealership use for the lifetime drive train warranty vehicles. They focus on keeping the fluids clean and conditioning of the internal seals without making them too soft. They're banking on you not keeping it more than 200k or much more than the typical 8 years. With proper care and maintenance you can get most vehicles to 300k and 15 years plus. My 2013 Avalon is at 182k and still operates silky smooth on the road. Almost forgot; this stuff is thick. I don't feel like I wasted my time or money trying it. I've also used other Lucas products on my older 2007 Tundra with excellent results. It won't fix mechanical issues, but it will usually fix or clean up minor issue due to fluid and seal conditions. Good luck.

OK - so this Lucas Transmission Fix fluid had me baffled!!!!
...and in a very good way! Please, read on.... I have a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac SUV. I've had this vehicle (I baby it alot - it looks new) since 2001 when I purchased it and it currently has 140,000 miles on it. Little did I realize, however, that the particular transmission model used in the Sport Trac was used for a few years in a variety of Ford trucks. And the problem was that this transmission had problems - big problems - yet Ford never saw fit to order a recall. To make a long story short, I'm on my 3rd Transmission and my current transmission began to slip a few weeks ago as of this writing (signaling the same issue that the transmission should have been recalled for) and also would jump from 1st to 3rd, bypassing 2nd gear. I brought it to the transmission repair facility in my town (that rebuilt my last transmission) and they told me that all of the code indicators are that it will need a complete rebuild again - yikes, another friekin' $3000 - $3500 outlay, which I just can't afford, nor would I want to do that again, given the age of the vehicle. Then I read up on the Lucas Transmission Fix oil, and figured, "What Da Hay..." why not give her a try, and I did. I did not remove any of my transmission fluid and just emptied the entire contents into my transmission. And all I can say is that it made a world of difference. Now, does my transmission still have some issues - yes, it does as the Lucas is no magic snake oil. But if I'm driving normally (not gunning it like a bat out of hell), the transmission shifts normally (going from 1st, to 2nd, to 3rd, to 4th) and feels quite smooth - and that says a lot (at least for me). So each transmission problem is different. My transmission is one had the blogosphere filled with contentious conversations about about this model - with folks being angry about Ford not recalling it due to all of these ongoing issues. But it does us no good now. My last transmission rebuild was just 4 years ago and now it's doing the same thing, so yes, it is a design deficiency. But it's nice to know (at least for me) that the Lucas Transmission Fix fluid has provided a marked improvement and now I can drive my vehicle for years to come. Ben Herrmann Fuquay Varina, NC

Helped My Transmission Run Better
Lucas Oil Transmission Fix helped my transmission and made a noticeable difference. It was easy to add, and my vehicle seems to shift smoother after using it. For the price, it’s a solid product and definitely worth trying before spending money on bigger repairs.

This is a potential life saver
As a last resort before taking my car for potentially a full transmission repair , now i don’t think it’s the case anymore. As long as there’s no mechanical damage i said that it’s worth a try. Did a quick test drive and there is absolutely an improvement, not major as im guessing i should still drive a bit till the fluid reaches everywhere and i did only half a bottle, but i can see why it’s Sooo reccomended.

Transmission Fix: Es funktioniert!
Tolles Produkt, Daumen hoch.
