The dark grey looks pretty good. its prints good, and it doesnt warp. I like it. IT PRINTS JUST FINE, I DONT KNOW WHAT THOSE PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT.

First time using this filament and it worked great! No print issues. Solid filament.

Fantastic filament. I usually run bambu filaments and had great luck with 3 rolls of it so far. It comes with a storage bag.

Dark Gray / Z00003D-DARK GRAY Before even trying to print anything, I took this out of the packaging and immediately dried this stuff for 12 hours at 60°C in my AMS 2 Pro. This filament looks really nice.. It's nicely wound, and I didnt see any issues with the windings or the spool itself. I like that Ziro uses a hard plastic spool. I hate cardboard spools. When compared to Duramic 3D smoky gray, this one is darker. You're gonna spend your first 100g of the new filament just trying calibrate the damned thing... At first I did a filament card. Then I did a temp tower test. Seems to like 225-220.. Then i did another filament card. After printing 2 sub-par filament cards (for AMS identification at a glance) I decided to do a flow rate calibration. Since I already had another Ziro filament that liked (Flow Rate) FR 0.9981, I started from there and did a fine calibration downwards - because the Fine calibration with start at 0.9981 and go negative, by value of +/- 0.00981 each time, to 0.98829, 0.97848, 0.96867, 0.95886 and so on... I started to see negative effects from that and decided to go the opposite way as well.... but first, I wanted to bring up an issue I saw re-occurring -- This stuff is doing some weird things when printing... The surface is rough and when you look at it under a microscope, one layer is up by like 0.01mm and the next is down to 0, like a checkers board. Up, down, up, down, up, down... Not sure why a continuously extruded filament, with no additives, would do that... I also tried flow rates of .9981, 1.0084, 1.01871, and 1.029. 1.01871 was my favorite flow rate, and to anyone who is looking to tune up this filament quickly, I would recommend you start there and work your way down if necessary.. 1.029 was good but had unknown white substances between the layers i can only assume was some type of additive or filler... The stepping was still visible on these under a microscopic level - and I don't know how badly that will effect the surface finish of future prints, but as far as I can tell the surface is relatively smooth.. It's not like sandpaper or anything, but it is slightly concerning in the back of my mind when I use this filament. After running all these calibration tests I tried to print a model. On the first try I used a cool plate, which is 45°C by default... Failed to adhere. Figuring "okay that's out of the filaments bed temp range" I tried a second plate - A smooth H1H build plate, at 60°C. Failed to adhere. So I flipped it over and tried the other side; 60°C. Failed to adhere. Midway thru printing I was getting gobs of filament bunching together in various spots... Can't say that I'm impressed with their line of generic flat-colors. After it gets going it seems to do okay - but only time will tell... Maybe it's a cooling issue..? I printed a full model in the dark gray color and it seemed to go mostly okay. A small issue here and there - but overall, it did well... Can't give it a perfect score though... I will give Ziro credit - They have a great little bonus gift added with all their boxes of filament, that i think every company should do, where they include a cleaning/purging filament, a random sample of a colored filament (usually a dual-color or tri-color), and a highly reflective resealable bag for filament spools. One thing I didn't like about the Ziro company overall was that they didn't seem to have a grasp on what information was correct and published regarding their own filament. As you may see with many of the smaller and fly-by-wire companies, that aren't mega-brands like Sunlu, Hatchbox, eSUN, Overture (etc), they tend to have inaccurate information when you compare two sources of information against each other -- in this case, the print temperature, bed temperature, and print speed of the filament! The most important guiding information for the product being handed to you after giving them your hard earned money, and they can't even put two numbers in two places that match what the actual data from their lab says is the correct one. In this instance it was even worse than that, because on THEIR OWN WEBSITE they had a section at the top which said the data for printing specifications, right next to where you picked your color of filament .... then on amazon they have the same info as the website, at least, but then if you scroll further down the page, they have an image center-screen that shows basically a fun info-graphic which has completely different information on it. In summary, just from the information publicly available .. They don't know what the diameter tolerance of their own filament is..... They don't know what print speed you should set for minimums and maximums... and they don't know what the proper bed temperature setting is...... It's a craps shoot.. "Set it for some generic-to-all filament mid-range number and good luck!" they say..... (from the info given) I really wish they'd do better... Takes them all of 10 minutes to sync this information across all sources, but for whatever reason they choose not to, and the only person it hurts is the customer......... Do better, Ziro. **UPDATE** Changed review to 5-stars for excellent customer support. Ziro got in contact with me and issued a full refund for this spool. Seems like the spool I got might have been a mistake even though it does say black matte PLA on the label. Great company! I've gone through many spools of this specific color matte filament and its been super consistent over the 4+ years i've been buying it. great charcoal color, printed fantastic. For whatever reason the last spool I ordered immediately looked like a different filament. Darker color, not as matte, doesn't print as nicely at all. You can tell even from feeling the filaments that they are not the same at all. Look at the difference! Ziro is usually really consistent for me so I'm a bit surprised. Did they change up the formula or something? Maybe I got the normal black by mistake?? I want the old matte black back!!!!

I picked this up because it was the green I was looking for. And that's about all the good I can say about it - it's a nice "military green" shade. Even on the roll, it feels odd and kind of rough, even as a matte PLA. It feels grainy. It feeds through an AMS just fine, but I haven't had good prints with this - the prints will (generally) finish, but they feel like - if you've ever handled modeling putty that's been sitting out or Milliput that's not fully cured? That sort of softish texture. And the resulting prints have also been soft. I've broken them apart getting supports out - even after altering the supports. I got an OK print of a BD-1 "kit card" which requires parts to be pressed together. The dimensions on the kit are fine, but this sutff just coudln't handle much of the assembly pressure at all and would often just snap - mind you, this is with fasteners split in the middle and designed to flex slightly to clip together. It won't take superglue. It's just awful filament that I'll avoid in the future.

The perfect baby blue!! It took me ages to find this color— a true powder baby blue. I was happy enough with the color but I’m blown away by the print quality as well. Will definitely try other colors.

Nozzle clogged instantly. Impossible to make a print unless you increase the temperature to hide the bad quality. As soon as I switched to my previous material all went back to normal.

This is the filament from hell. Even after drying it will not print most of the time. Most prints fail either right away or half way through - this is the first PLA I have problems with, normally all PLAs print without problems, not this.

My friends and I bought a 3D printer, and needed filament to actually print stuff. This was one of the first ones that came up, and it did not disappoint! It works flawlessly with our Bambu Lab A1 printer. It extrudes without any problems and is very easy to cut and replace. The spool unwinds well while printing and doesn’t cause any issues. The final prints are hardy, very strong, and look great! Aside from the usual 3D printing artifacts, there are no visual problems. Breaking off the supports are very easy, but it depends on which type of supports you print and what they are supporting. Honestly, I have no notes for this product. Good stuff.
