Loud tick. Comfy and makes me happy how crap/good it is. It’s the ultimate don’t try hard watch. I want to get more but some are just stupidly priced. This is right in the correct price bracket at £50.

Classic beauty!
I will start with why I did not give this beautiful watch five stars. The pile of leaves at the base of the face makes the bottom of the hour a bit difficult to track. Beyond that I love this Timex classic! Indiglo...Yes! LOUD American Timex ticking...Yes! Classic minimalist styling...Yes! I have several Timex watches and most of them look like this. The first watch I ever bought was an easy reader. I love my weekender and my Waterbury automatic. Timex is one of those classic brands that will always be around! And they will keep on ticking! Addendum: A few days after receiving this beautiful watch I had to change the battery. Now I have several different kinds of batteries and a battery changing kit, as a part of my watch collection, but the average consumer might not. This is probably a result of the watch sitting around in the warehouse for more than a year. Or, I could just have gotten a bad battery. Either way I thought I would add to my review. Addendum 2: I have had this watch for several months and I just noticed something about the dial. “How could you just notice something on the dial after wearing it for months?” Well, I don’t look for the quality of the lume. And I don’t spend much time outside during the day. I work from home, and I work inside. But I went for a long drive and noticed something great. This watch has luminescent numbers! A few minutes in the sun and the dial shines! The hands, the dots next to the numbers, and the numbers themselves. I have a watch collection and this Timex Standard with a Snoopy design has the best lume of any of them! I am giving this another star! Five of five!
