Works like a charm
I bought this for a 2021 Honda HR-V LX AWD that has an Alpine ILX-W650 deck in it. This allows you to retain the factory USB connection, so you don’t have to run the aftermarket usb cable. The adapter snaps right into the factory plug and then plugs right into the aftermarket radio USB connection. Very easy connection, and no messy cables in the cabin of the vehicle. The reason I specifically gave my make, model, and year of my vehicle is because it says it’s not compatible, but it definitely is. Hope this is helpful for othe HR-V owners.

Perfect for my install. CarPlay and Android Auto working great
Although Crutchfield suggested the ACC-USB-SU1 for my 2014 Outback (with nav/Harman) this was the adapter I needed. My head unit is the JVC KW-M875BW; wired CarPlay and Android Auto are now working from my console usb port with this adapter.

Doesn’t fit the Subaru BRZ
Wrong type of connector for the factory plug on the BRZ.

Works for 2013 Toyota Camry
It is basically plug and play. This allowed me to keep my existing USB port in my car. I used it with a Pioneer DMH-2660NEX. Everything works as advertised. iDaraLink maestro made upgrading my car stereo a breeze. Follow the provided instructions, your install will be looking fabulous and very functional.
