Five Star - 6022b_ - Star San - 32 Ounce - High Foaming Sanitizer

Holy wow!! First off, this is an AMAZING product. If you are looking around for sanitizers, this is the one to get. In particular I was looking for a sanitizer for my ice machine. Sanitizing is the second step you should never forget with cleaning. If you own an ice machine, this is great stuff and it will protect you until the next cleaning cycle. Don’t let the size of the bottle itself fool you. This is crazy concentrated stuff. You MUST dilute it, that’s what the other cap on the other side is for. My ice machine makes 100lb per day of ice and it only required 1 teaspoon (yes!) of this stuff added to the water reservoir. You have to add it when water is already in there and the machine is off, only then do you start the cleaning cycle. I love how this cleaner isn’t so cost prohibitive. It foams like crazy and the sanitizer performs very well. If you own an ice machine you will need to run the cleaning cycle at least 3 times. At least I did in order to get the foam down and it’s pristine now. Throw out the first 2 batches of ice when it’s done. I hope this helps someone. Don’t forget, it’s a great product, foams a LOT and make sure you sure you use the right amount of solution. You’ve got a customer for life now.

Great product. I have purchased it several times before and I will continue to purchase it. I make Mead year-round and have never had an issue while using this product.

Works as advertised and intended, great for my brewing vessels and parts, high foaming, easy to mix and use.

They got it to me quickly and without damage. I have not opened it yet. But this is the industry standard. So, I am sure it will sanitize just like it should.

We run a micro dairy and use this daily to sanitize our milk machines. There has a been a few shipments that have come where the product is leaking in the box, which is problematic when shipping, especially with USPS. Not to mention the cost of the product to have some leaking out before getting is upsetting. The cost has gone up close to 10 bucks in the last year-which I try to be understanding about as everything has gone up. When you get down to about midway or less of product, filling the squeeze part-where you will then pour your measured product out from, is difficult. I'm still giving 4 stars because it does do a great job and sanitizing our machines/tubes.

This is one of my favorite products I do canned goods and kombucha. And I’ve been looking for something to sanitize my bottles and give them them like new look. These are perfect and it helps me to cut down on time where I have to boil and sanitize or do you know oven and things like that this actually lets me wash give them a deep wash in the dishwasher on the sanitize section and then go ahead and do a double sanitization with this and for about one minute. When you’re canning over 100 items in a day this is a game changer.

デカい容器で漬け物をすることが多いのですが、殺菌作業がネックでした。 でもこれを使えばそんな手間なく仕込み器具類含め殺菌できます。 ちょっと濃いですが、浄水1Lにこれを2mlを良く溶かして噴霧器などに入れて使ってます。シュッシュして1分ほど置くだけ。水で流す必要無し(むしろ流してはダメ)。もちろん味や体に影響はありません。 生きてるうちに使い切れるかな...
