Great book in sensational condition. As a Medical Herbalist, I'm finding the information in this book of incredible value to add to my base knowledge. Great illustrations and photos, easy to read and understand. So highly valuable if you are interested in taking back control of your health

This is an awesome resource! Learning the energetics & not just the reductionist scientific properties of a plant is ever so much more interesting & gives a deeper understanding of the personality of the plant & what it goes through in it's environment unveils the gift of it's medicine within.. It's far more than mere "parts" could ever be.

Beautiful compilation of information

As a horticulturist who often communicated with people who have little science background, this is a very good book for understanding and providing education.

A lovely book. If you work with western plants it is a must. She writes beautifully, a pleasure to read.I choose herbs based doctrine on signatures often so when I'm learning a new herb it is really nice to have.I'm so glad I got this book.

It is a beautiful book about the Language of the Plants and also it is a rare one. Useful for those who work on the field of herbal medicine.

A very useful tool for Consciousness

This is, no exaggeration, the book I've been looking for after years of searching. A thorough explanation of how to adopt and apply doctrine of signatures ("the language of plants") as part of a deeper and broader framework for healing. Language of Plants draws from the experience of different traditions, and describes how to synthetically and intuitively interpret all the unique bits of information a plant displays. Numerous graphics and bright color pics are used as examples. I don't know of any other book where all this information is integrated in one place. Excellent!!! 5 star +++

A fascinating subject, but the author’s clunky English and frequent, basic grammatical errors (such as a constant misuse of “its” and “it’s”) become grating after a while. It would have been far better to write in her native German and have it translated. Failing that, why did Lindisfarne Books not do a basic edit?

This book was on my wish list for a while and i finally purchased as a treat to myself and it didn't dissapoint. Its beautifully written and full of a wealth of information. It now takes pride of place in my collection.

A very interesting book about plants . I don't think there are many books out there like this one.Very deep and thoughtful content without being technical or complicated. She demystifies the language of plants. I actually think I have taken a quantum leap in learning about plants and their properties through reading this book. If the properties of plants interest you, you dabble in herbalism, or indeed are a herbalist I thoroughly recommend this book.Thank you and very well done Ms Graves.

lovely book, gave all i need to know

I don't know exactly what I was expecting when I preordered this book but I was WOWed when I received it. This book breaks down plant anatomy into small easy to understand segments. When you're done reading this book you will never look at plants the same way again, they are so much more than the pretty little things we see in our gardens.
