If your looking for a easy set up to capture your games this is it its decent basically plug in play and a great price to stream your games for novices if your looking for something better like an elgato than this might not be for you

WORKS GREAT WITH DIY PIKVM. goes on the bottom left usb port on rpi4. using the custom pikvm image from the page this worked plug and play. match it with the GODIYMODULES splitter good USB C DATA/POWER cables and OG power supply from PI, and you have a PIKVM working. For the ATX controller there is a seller on ebay called pushbx that sells a kit and go full DIY PIKVM

I am looking for a solution, decided to try this while I waited for the Logitech Screen Share to arrive. I was surprised to see this cheap unit had much better video quality than the Logitech $300 unit. Unfortunately I cannot use this unit for my intended purposes. You need to use the camera app or any software that loads the camera app in order to see it, you then need to go to audio settings and enable "listen to this device" under recording if you wish to transfer audio. My need for it requires a simple plug and play where the users don't have to do anything other than plug in their laptops. but other than that, it's works shockingly amazing for the price.

This product was a hit or miss for me. Some days it would work perfectly fine other days I would get color stripes on OBS because it wouldn't register or want to work with my camera. After about 2 months of using it completely went out and wouldn't connect my camera to my PC at all. This was the cheaper route anyway but if you want to have your camera connect to the PC I recommend the elgato camlink. I just bought it a few days ago and no problems with connecting, lag, or latency. However, when you buy this product listed you get what you pay for.

I needed a way to connect to headless servers and this was a nice solution to connect it to my laptop for admin. There are times when I simply cannot ssh into a machine and I didn't like having to lug around a monitor for those specific cases. Now, I just hook up this dongle to the hdmi out of the server and then plug it in using USB 2.0 to my laptop. Like other suggestions, I'm using OBS studio. I tried VLC but didn't get great results. Anyway, it works good for my use case. 5 stars from me.

I bought this to digitize home movie VHS tapes. Everything seemed to work well at first, but I soon discovered the audio would randomly cut out around half the time while recording. It usually happens around 30 - 45 minutes in, and then sometimes it would come back again after 20 minutes or so of silence. Other times there would be bursts of crackling audio throughout the entire recording that sound similar to clipping, but the volumes are not anywhere close to max. Unplugging and re-plugging the dongle usually fixes the issue for a while, until it starts cutting out or crackling again. I do not recommend this capture card and will be returning it and buying a different brand while I still have some hair left that I haven't pulled out!

القطعة ممتازة وجربتها مع السوني ٤ على البي سي ببرنامج obs studio شغالة من افضل مايكون على دقة 1080p ولا في تقطيع اى تأخير في الفيديو ولا الصوت بس بالبداية كانت عندي مشكلة تأخير بالصوت وبعد محاولات لتعديله في الاعدادات والبحث لقيت باليوتيوب واحد يشرح حل مشكلة audio delay بالاعدادات وضبط ١٠٠٪؜ هي نقطتين مهمة بالاعدادات عشان تنحل مشكلة تأخير الصوت الاول في اعدادات الصوت في نفس صفحة اثناء اعداد برنامج obs للقطعة كأول مرة في شي اسمه audio output mode هنا لازم نختار card audio only لكن بيضل مافي صوت هنا نجي للنقطة الثانية في شي اسمه advanced audio properties مكانه بواجهة البرنامج الاساسية تخش edit وتحصله تحت بيدخلك على الصفحة الي عليك بتشوف واحد منهم video capture device روح عدل على خاصيته في audio monitoring وخليه monitor and output وبيضبط معاك
