Tough and sexy
I can't recommend these wine glasses enough. I bought them in March, since my other wine glasses, one by one, had died tragic deaths mostly related to the dishwasher. I've had them now for about 9 months, and am tickled pink.First, a disclaimer: I had one wine glass break in the dishwasher, but that was a result of my accidentally dropping it on the dishes while I was loading the dishwasher and the wineglass bouncing under a baking sheet and snapping at the handle. I find that above and beyond normal wear and tear. So, honestly, they're not completely idiot-proof. But then again, I bought ginormous crystal glasses, and expecting them to withstand extreme conditions is unrealistic. As far as durability goes, they're great. Unlike most wine glasses, these are dishwasher safe - no questions about it. Except for my silly mistake, they have come through the dishwasher without a single chip or scratch. I use a few of them about once a week, so that's a lot of dishwasher cycles with no ill effects. You can clang them in a toast, no problem. You can accidentally bump them against things, no problem. They are much much more tougher than your standard crystal glasses.Another great thing about the glasses is, they just look pretty. They're really big but they're still easy to hold. I have tiny hands and my husband has huge hands, and we both like the look and feel of the glasses. They make wine look beautiful - swirling wine in a giant glass just looks and feels kind of impressive. Also, they do what they're supposed to and make good wine taste good. You can really get the smell of wine from the top of the glass. I am sure that there are more technical aspects to the glass, but for me the long and short of it is, wine just tastes good in them. Also, the glasses are gorgeous. I recommend them without hesitation for anyone looking for a wine glass that's impressive-looking, durable, and does its job well. My friend also bought them and describes them as "awesome".

Perfect size, perfect volume, perfect weight.
We rcvd the water stemware today. First, they are perfect...My 2 biggest concerns when ordering ~ 1) Will they be awesome? Answer...YES, 2) Will they survive shipment? Answer...Oh yeah. All 3 boxes were freakishly packaged...they did not spare the bubble wrap! If these water glasses hold up after a month or so, we plan is to start replacing our glassware with Schott Zwiesel Tritan products...

Classy Glass for Water!
I am a glass snob. I took a chance on these and LOVE LOVE LOVE them! The glass is not too thick and it holds nicely in your hand. So elegant! You will not find these in any local store!

Very Nice, but...annoyed used product sold as new.
These are very nice glasses. They have a nice weight and feel to them. They feel delicate yet sturdy. I bought two boxes of six. Had I only bought one box, I most likely would not have noticed that I was sold a used product. I opened the first box and each glass had a Scott Zwiesel mettalic sticker. I peeled the stickers off of the the first set of glasses and hand washed each one. When I opened the second box and pulled out the first glass to wash , I noticed it didn't have a sticker. After further checking, I discovered that none of the glasses in the second box had stickers and some had finger prints and smudges. None were scratched, and they all came out looking great after I washed them. I may be just being too OCD, but a part of me feels that if I am buying something with the expectation of it being brand new, I should not be sent something that is in "like new" condition. That is the only reason that I gave them a four star rating instead of five stars.

The long hunt is over! Great size, elegant but sturdy.
I have been working on completing my wine glass collection since last Christmas, and these are the perfect glasses to round it out! My MIL originally bought me the Riedel Overture set, which we found to be much too small. We exchanged them and received some of the Riedel Vinum XL's for our pinots (perfect for Oregonians who love their local wines), which I love, but my husband almost never uses them due to their fragility. So for our whites I thought I'd try out the Schott Zwiesels, as many reviews say they're sturdier feeling. I originally ordered the 9.4 oz Forte collection glasses, but still found their size to be too small for my liking. Not that I need a huge pour, but I like to give my chardonnays room to breathe a little, and I don't like to feel like a giant holding a tiny glass. These glasses are absolutely perfect. They are a great size, very comfortable to hold, and feel quite sturdy in the hand. The shape is quite elegant and they highlight the wine beautifully. I highly, highly recommend these glasses!

Outstanding quality and great to drink out of
These glasses are wonderful. They're perfect size for a nice red wine. The stems are very thin but there is no seam line. The glasses are wonderful to hold in your hand and allow for a nice swirl of your wine. Brim is well crafted and nice on the lips. The glass is very thin in both the glass as well as the stem. I use extreme caution when hand washing them as it feels like they could definitely break if care is not used. They're not cheap, but I feel like they are a good investment if you really like quality red wine.

Great craftsmanship and awesome Cru size
I am a big Reidel fan and have a set of Bordeaux Cru size, so I wanted to match them as closely as possible with a Burgundy cru set. But I read reviews and researched Schott Zwiesel and decided to take a shot on these. So glad did. Great craftsmanship, all glasses appear perfectly balanced with no blemishes whatsoever. The large cru size really allows for the aromatics to express themselves so well on the nose. The glass thickness is perfect with a super lip on them. At less than 60% of the cost for the equivalent number of Reidel grand cru Burgundy glasses, you can’t go wrong with these.

Too small; glass has an odd sound and dull apprarance
Way too small for goblets. I think they either sent the wrong size or the ad copy made an error in the description.Glass doesn’t have the shine I expect.

Excellent!
Really enjoy these glasses, they are sturdy even though crafted delicately. They can handle the dishwasher and is a great glass that can be used for both beer, water or drinks.

Great!
I've had these before so knew about them before purchasing... Wonderful product! Looks like fine crystal, but it's tougher! My have survived various drops into a ceramic sink without breaking... They're not break proof though... they're simply tougher than regular crystal glasses of similar thickness.
