A good read but ...
Written from an Indian's perspective, with as much objectivity I can offer:PROS:1. Very well researched2. The authors get under the skin of the Kashmir cesspool.3. Wide coverage of FATA and other lesser-known conflicts (to an Indian audience).4. A compelling readCONS:1. Seems to suggest the attack on the Indian parliament was a false flag op. I think the authors overestimate the reach of RAW-IB. False flag ops may take place in some remote hinterland - but not in the Indian parliament. This is akin to suggesting 9/11 was a CIA plot to discredit the Islamic world. Ahem.2. Seismic events like the Kunduz airlift and the Abbottabad raid get fleeting /light coverage.3. Prolific use of acronyms and short forms can get distracting unless you have an academic bend of mind. Some parts seem to be directly derived from short-hand notes taken in a hurry.4. The book would have benefited from better chapter organization to make it a more lucid read.5. Lastly, even though it is a story about ISI and RAW - It would be fair to say it is 70% ISI narrative and 30% RAW.
