Sharp, Well Built Beauty!
So, no one really wants to see me shaving my arm, but, in case you ever wanted to see that.....this was right out of the box! Many have said it came sharp. Yep. So that is important to me, and the build quality is equally important to me, if not more so. This knife feels substantial in my hand, but not heavy. The blade flicks out with a satisfying click, and locks firmly in place. The recessed clip is sturdy, and not loose, like some have reported for theirs. Loose clip is an easy fix (usually) so that probably wouldn't change my opinion much anyway. But again, not a problem on mine. It's recessed to where I don't feel it when holding it, but it still easily clips to my pocket without me having to finagle it to do so. And if the sharpness and great build of this knife weren't enough alone to impress me, it has something else going for it....... It is BEAUTIFUL! The Damascus blade, the wood in the handle, the overall design of this knife is just beautiful! I can sit here typing, attempting clumsily to describe my impression, but photos tell it better! Now, I do have one glaring regret so far about this knife. Over time, most of my pocket knives have migrated over to my kids, either by me giving them away, or by mysterious disappearance and redistribution of my stuff! So I needed a new, good quality knife , and I took a chance on this one, which has not disappointed on first impression. But I bought it in preparation for camping... So, this beautiful knife will be put through it's paces, and most likely, some abuse, as camping demands. Because anyone who loves camping knows that a good pocket knife becomes the everything tool when out in the forest somewhere. So this knife may get bunged up a bit (or a lot), but it's purpose must be fulfilled! Like sending Marilynn Moroe out to tackle and field dress a moose (geez that woman it tough!) and hoping somehow she doesnt mess up her hair or break a nail. Or, you know, don't send anyone to do that because it wouldn't turn out well ..... but if anyone would still look good after that I'll conceived hypothetical situation, she could pull it off. I expect the same of this knife. We shall see! If only I had chosen an ugly knife, I wouldn't have to worry about it! Anyway, if you choose, like I did, to take a chance on this "looks too nice to actually be worth it at this price point" knife, I think you will be pleased when you open that box. I know I am!

This is a great knife! I highly recommend it!!!
This is a great knife! I am not an expert but I do appreciate a quality pocket knife and this is the best one that I have owned. It is sharp out of the box, sharp enough that I had to be cautious handling it. On top of that it is beautiful with the Damascus pattern and hardwood handle. The knife is solid no loose parts and the bearing facilitates smooth yet solid opening, in fact I woke my wife up playing with it in the dark just flicking it open and enjoying the satisfying "CLIKC" of the blade lock which is just right not to stiff but enough to know that the blade is secure. This is an EDC blade for me and size of the blade is just right, enough blade to be functional but not so big as to be bulky clipped to the inside of my front pocket. The weight is also great heavy enough to be solid but not noticeable in my pocket. That brings me to the inset clip which is the only clipped knife that I have that I don't have to pull the clip open with my finger to get it over the lip of my pants or carhart bib pocket and it remains snugly clipped. That is not the best part about the clip when using the knife the clip is literally undetectable to the hand far better than any of my other clipped blades for sure. This blade is a steal for this price I almost want to send them more money out of guilt, Almost, I think I will just buy a few more as gifts for friends and family. The outstanding clip design, finger flick opening and bearing, blade sharpness and knife weight and leather strap make this a great easy to use knife. I find myself looking for opportunities use this beautiful, well made tool. Side note: I did some sharpening and waxed the blade and handle of the knife with food safe wax it all and that really pushed this knife over the top. The tactile feel of the waxed hard wood handle is amazing and the wax protected blade is so sharp that it is almost scary to use and it has held its sharpness with over a week of light use. I definitely recommend this knife.

Amazing knife
Background: I enjoy knives. I usually only buy autos, but needed an edc for chores when I don't want to beat my expensive knives up and/or lose them. Also, this was a "few beers in" purchase, that I wouldn't have normally bought. Product: This knife is great, came relatively sharp, was absolutely beautiful, and after cutting plastic and net wrap off 8 bales, has held its edge well. This is very hard on an edge. I sharpened it tonight, and you can shave with it now. One of my favorite features, and biggest beef with the Kershaw Launch series, is the recessed deep carry clip. I have lost/ caught on something, way to many times with my launch knives due to the clip being to flared at the end. This knife is almost flush, but still easily slides into your pocket. My Carhartt bibs are quite a bit thicker, and still works nicely. The wood is nicely done, flipper action is smooth, but not as good as a Civivi, Damascus blade is beautiful, fits my hand nicely, and extremely well thought out carry clip. I have knives that are 5-8 times the price of this one, and this has been one of my favorite surprise knife purchases to date. I will probably order more for presents for friends and family. Overall one of the best bangs for your buck that I have stumbled across.

Over all good knife
I love this knife it cuts really good and easy but I'm not a big fan of how it feels in my hand. Cuts meat, paper, cloth and fishing line eazy.

After two years.
I thought I’d come back to write an actual review on this knife. I have have this knife for 2 years now, and I couldn’t be happier and more satisfied with how it’s held up and how reliable and consistent it has been, both functionally and aesthetically. This is what it looks like now after 2 years. Yes it’s a bit scratched but that’s on me, this knife was my first try at learning how to sharpen knife’s with a sharpening stone.

Great knife
Can't beat this knife for the price. Holds a good edge as well as not bad to sharpen. The pocket clip being recessed into the wood was a nice touch. Worth having

A humbly sharp blade!
A beautifully made pocket knife, very sharp, seemingly durable for a great price.
