Helly-HansenMen's Dubliner Jacket Waterproof, Windproof, Breathable Shell Rain Coat with Packable Hood

I wanted a lightweight jacket that is also water proof. This jacket is perfect! The fit is excellent and the zipper is top notch. I’m 6’ and 185lbs, and the XL fits perfectly. Highly recommend.

Feature notes: The jacket is high quality and very good looking. YKK zippers, an inside pocket, and stowable hood. It has snaps on the front to close the storm flap over the zipper (versus Velcro). The wrist cuffs have a bit of elasticity and an extra snap adjustment to fine tune from there. The neck / collar is lined with a skin-friendly fleece which was an important variable for me. The body and arms have a light lining so wearing in short sleeves feels just fine. No pit zips though!Appearance: The Helly Hansen branding on many jackets is pretty bold. It’s subdued in the black jacket variant which makes it versatile for office or casual use. It’s really sharp!Fit: If you like all those features too, then the trick to whether you will like this jacket is if you prefer a very fitted torso/waist. I have tried on two other HH jackets and can confirm this is different than what you normally get for size ‘X’. This has true to size sleeve length, shoulder and chest width, but then tapers down (a full size) in the torso and waist to a smaller size. If you carry noticeable ‘belly’ you will likely not like this jacket. You could size up beyond your normal clothing size, but then the arms may be very long. If you are not carrying (much) extra belly you can order your size (or larger of the two if you straddle two sizes) and will have a very nice looking fit. It is more cut like a V than any jacket I own.I find the arm movement is also very good with little to no raising of the jacket when I lifer my arms.THIS JACKET IS A KEEPER - BUT IF YOU CARRY BELLY WEIGHT LOOK ELSEWHERE, OR TAKE YOUR CHANCES BY SIZING UP!

I live in North Florida and this jacket is perfect for the cool "winter" weather (upper 40's - mid 60's) in this area. It is lightweight, but more than a single layer of plastic-type material thanks to the mesh inner lining. The hood folds into the collar, also lined with a heavier material, and the jacket has been waterproof through light showers. In addition, it is both comfortable and sharp looking/stylish, and I received several compliments from both men and women the first day that I wore it. I am 6'1" and 195lbs, which normally makes me a large in shirts and jackets. However, after reading the reviews here, I purposefully ordered one size up (XL) and it fits perfectly. I highly recommend this item as a light, cool weather, waterproof jacket.

The jacket was everything I expected but the logo was in a dark color not the white depicted in the photo for the jacket. It repels the water great!

Excellent rain jacket! I am 6"0" and weight 205lbs. I bought an XL. The XL is a little big, and I like it that way so I can easily wear a sweatshirt or down jacket under this waterproof layer for additional warmth.The jacket has two nice external handpockets with zippers. I have large hands and mine easily fit into the pockets to retrieve my items. The external pockets are lined with a soft semi-insulating material.There is one internal breast pocket with zipper as well. I live in San Jose, CA. Recently we have been pounded with rain for the past 2.5 months and this jacket hasn't let a single drop of water through after extensive use.

Another Great product from HH. Pockets are spacious and lined, hood stows away in color, this gives the Dubliner a slightly upscale look. Jacket is breathable, comfortable and if you use the drawstring fits like a glove. I can't speak for colder winters further north, but in the DC area it's perfect with just a shirt underneath, plenty warm and best yet keeps all the wet stuff of Hail and sleat too.

Amazing light jacket but extremely warm! 30 degrees and wind and don’t feel a thing!!

Received product in a timely manner, put sizing was way off. I have two other Helly Jackets that are both XL. This is not an XL, but a L or smaller. Great product but labeling, must have gotten missed label somewhere along the line.
