Install took less than an hour and looks great to replace the previous prior one that was broken on Jeep

Perfect fit and easy to install

This was easy to install on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK. After removing my roof rack and plate holder, the new mount wired up and went on with minimal hassle. There are no instructions, but installation is straightforward. However, there’s no clear way to route the plate light wires without pinching them between the mount and the Jeep’s body, which could become a problem if the wires wear through. The biggest issue is that the license plate doesn’t actually fit in the holder. The edges completely encase the plate, and the alignment pins and mounting holes don’t match up, so I had to slightly bend the plate to make it fit. Pros: • Looks great • Fits securely on the vehicle Cons: • No useful mounting hardware • Plate doesn’t fit well in the holder • Dim plate light

Found my license plate holder was smashed in a parking lot. I have a feeling that this could happen again. So finding this cheaper item was welcome. Hardest part was navigating the light bulb wiring. Not a perfect fit, but hard to tell if you're not looking for it. My License plate actually fits better on this holder than the MOPAR one. How odd.
