How much space does this take up if my daughter needed to put it in a suitcase?

Hi, thank you for your question. The unit is long and narrow and when rolled up and placed in it's carry bag, the dimensions are 16" long x 2-4 " wide. It fits nice and compact in a small suitcase. I hope this information helps.

My plunger won't extend. how do i fix it?

Hi Miranda, thank you for reaching out to us. Your plunger may be locked closed. To release the lock on your handle, the bottom shaft needs to be rotated anti-clockwise. It should twist fairly easily without too much effort. If this does not free it you could try giving it a couple of sharp taps straight down on to the threaded end of the handle, then try twisting anti-clockwise.
