Horizon Forbidden West | Standard Edition | PS5 Game (PlayStation 5)

The Horizon franchise continues to elevate itself with a fantastic open world environment, interesting story lines, and a marvelous character arc for Aloy. I also loved the background music and songs like "In the flood". This CD is a genuine product, and was delivered on time.

One of the best titles in Sony. Wonderful game. Literally such a good game after a while. I'm writing this review as I'm flying through the credits. Amazing game. Many have a doubt if it runs well in PS4. I have a PS4 slim and it runs flawlessly. Maybe some rare occasions of late rendering. But the graphics is phenomenal and it's 100% worth for the price they are giving it now. Guerrilla games delivered a masterpiece with detailed characters, a spectacular story and a mind blowing open world in which u can easily get lost it. In my opinion, this is a must have game for the playstation players. No words can describe the journey you go through the game. Amazing

Horizon Forbidden West is the most beautiful game of the year 2022. It continues the story of Aloy in the post-apocalyptic world where the pre-apocalyptic race is trying to take control of the planet after leaving the planet for eons. You fight against DigiMechanical monster machines and superhuman entities to keep peace on the planet and stop the corruption of biomass. The graphics of this game are top-notch. Although 2022 is not over, this is probably going to win the beauty contest of games at the end of the year. Gameplay and mechanics-wise, it is not that bad. It's a pretty easy game to play, has a handful of weapons to tinker around with and a few special abilities to use. The scavenging and crafting of ammunition stay out of the way, mostly. It took me 30 hours to complete this game and I'm sitting at around 75% completion after completing the main story and most of the side quests. Have killed every type of machine at least once. Although I own a PS5 I purposely got the PS4 version as the upgrade was free from Sony, the download was around 60 GB if I recall correctly because it redownloaded a whole different game for PS5.

Works well

To start off, I'll have to mention that I did finished the first game+dlc and I've played about 200+ hours. This game feels very much a update to previous game. I did not enjoy it as much as i did with previous game. Alot of gameplay mechanics have been Nerf from previous game and it feels alot grinding and at times unnecessary. New legendary weapons are notoriously grinding to upgrade. But they're also overpowered to the fact that buying a rare/epic weapons is waste of resources. Upgrading the default/common weapons is much more efficient & effective. Yes, visually the game is stunning even in an old PS4 and Story is great to keep you engaged but my criticism lies with dialogue system. It is dull and redundant. For game that's focuses on revealing the mysteries of world through your third eye/focus and tie things on your own accord. Forgets its own system and pour all the knowledge through dialogues which makes it redundant because if you really play attention you figure things out. My final thoughts on it is that for a game so beautiful and somewhat decent story it falls off with it's game mechanics as i have played the previous game. But if it's your first time experiencing this game go for it. It's a tried and tested RPG that we have come to nor love or hate and just be good enough to spend our time on it. 3/5
