I have used Zen Sangam's landscape watercolor journal before and I was eagerly waiting for them to launch a portrait one, cause I looved the landscape one so much.The paper is such good quality and holds colors so nicely. You can see the texture in a picture which makes the paint flow like butter. The best part the paper doesn't wrinkles after using and you can paint on both the sides. AND JOURNAL IS FLATLAY FRIENDLY 😍 yay!

This really deserves 5 star. it came i was actually scared about its ends if it will come damaged while delivering but it was packed very nicely. And the texture of the book is mwahh!! I do guoache on it and it absorbs the color so nicely!! Its better than 300gsm so go for it.

Quality as described. Tried for watercolours, colour does not bleed through paper. Easy and convenient to carry for travel

The pages are so thick that you don't have to worry about layering your colors at all. I love this art journal. And it looks beautiful.

the texture in the sketchbook is so bad it makes painting not so much fun and it’s just not worth it, now I can’t even return it as i opened up the sketchbook!!!

I just bought this size A6..It is literally awesome...I was my first sketch book and my first try on water colour on it...iam so happy to say that..no bleeding ..really soft affordable sketch that I ever saw..

I have been using zen sangams product for so long, and to be honest they have the best paper quality available. This journal is so amazing, there is absolutely no bleeding or traces on the other side when using watercolors, and they even work for gouache, brush pens, and what not? best part, its value for money. As an artist myself, i would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a watercolor journals. Trust me, this is a steal deal! AND YOU WON'T REGRET BUYING THIS!

Tbh, i have been using zen sangam's products for so long now, and they hv never disappointed me instead they always make me paint more. The texture of the paper, the water holding capacity is excellent. The colors do not smudge or bleed away, and there is absolutely no traces on the other side. I have not only used watercolors on them, but also watercolor brush pens, and they just work excellent!
