Terrain Value Box

Exactly the pieces I was looking for by random chance, plus a few odd things. I didn't know I wanted a face hugger egg, but what i did want was some town houses and general rocks. this was perfect for a budget start. Since contains may vary, I will consider I got very lucky. The print quality does have defects. Some rocks are weird (rocks are weird anyway). The houses seem fine. Not sure whats wrong with the alien egg, A few small pieces seem to be unusable bad. Might just recycle those, but overall very pleased and a bit lucky

I am an avid DnD player and reluctant DM. I ran a DnD one-shot for a friend's son's birthday last year and he loved it so much, I'm doing it again this year. So I needed to up the ante. I have loved watching crafters make and paint their own terrain, so when I came across this kit, I was thrilled. I figured I would use it to inspire this year's event, and it's been perfect. Plus, I wanted to try my hand at painting some terrain and I wouldn't feel bad if these came out poorly. It exceeded my expectations in every way. The fuest few pictures show what I received. A lot of large buildings, small bits, and even cavern terrain! I love it all. I included some photos of my attempts at painting, my very first attempts. I am loving the terrain, the price, and the painting. If you are open to random options and like 3D printed terrain, I highly recommend this kit.

Such a great buy! My husband absolutely loved the pieces it came with. He uses them for many different games and has requested for more 3 years later.

Picture that is most zoomed out is all the stuff they fit into the box (one building, couple of boulders, walls, log, tree trunks, graveyard pieces, barrels, crates, etc.) The picture with the rock wall shows that specific piece is in really bad shape, as it is missing the entire top of the rock piece. I'll have to think of something creative for this. But the good news, this was the only obvious badly printed piece in the box. Third image is a little closer picture of the gravestones and other scatter terrain. I didn't see any major issues with the terrain that a bit of paint and cover wouldn't totally disguise/cover up. I think the big question is, is it worth it? Well...that is super subjective. I've seen "good" cobblestone walls selling on Amazon for $5-$6 each (I got three here). The same goes for rock walls (I got two good ones and one bad one) Each building around $8-$10 each (I got one) etc. etc. I think I did come out ahead versus if I had tried to buy some of these pieces in a 'giftable' state, so I'm happy with this purchase. The thing that kept this a star is that all the terrain in the box is fantasy based versus being a mix with some sci-fi pieces. I think if the boxes can be fully 'themed'/genre-specific, then that goes a big ways to making use of everything in the box. At the time of purchase there are Free Returns, which is a great incentive to take a 'gamble' on this random pack. My gamble worked out for me and getting started with Frostgrave and Rangers of Shadow Deep.

Firstly, let me start off by saying there is absolutely nothing wrong with this purchase, I got exactly what I paid for, which is to say a box full of imperfect 3-D printed terrain and structure. My commentary is not on the quality, which is great, even for "imperfection" but rather the actual content of the box. 1. The ad said suitable for miniatures of various sizes but this terrain is small, definitely NOT scaled for a regular 25-28mm D&D miniatures, even my elves would have to stoop through these doors. 2. Very little variety. I got one large piece which was a 2 level riveted bulkhead type bldg. with stairs, and the rest was pretty evenly distributed between industrial steel barrels and rocky circular craters. There is absolutely nothing bad about this set except it wasn't what I was hoping for. If you are looking for extra pieces to supplement your collection or practice your painting skills, this may be the perfect add-on for you, but if you're trying to kick start your 3-D mapping, probably best to look elsewhere...

I love mystery boxes and grab bags of all kinds, especially if it’s something like this that deals with one of my favorite hobbies. There really was a pretty good amount of stuff in here considering what I paid for it. The catch is that this box is full of what could be considered factory seconds meaning that each piece has some sort of flaw that meant it couldn’t be sold for full price. That being said, there wasn’t a piece in here that wasn’t workable with a little putty or a filing or sand paper. And I got a good variety of things all of which I can use in my gaming. I really feel I got what I paid for. And frankly like I said I love these kind of things. I like the surprise.

Great box, plenty of terrain, and most importantly couldn't even tell why it was a second. Highly recommend . I have now gotten more than one of these boxes and they never fail!

I have bought several other Ender sets for wargames and d and d. These boxes are always a fun surprise. Some are parts of other things and get my creative juices flowing figuring out how to utilize them!

A random assortment from across their listed items, but mine also included some items apparently out of print, or not yet released, including a 7"x7" stone staircase/dais/bridge end, and a corner and wall piece of a creepy hedge maze, and 2 round sewer grates, all of which I would definitely buy. Print quality is generally excellent; the only 2 misprints were a catapult and weapon rack, which in "happy little accidents" style will now be featured in every damaged war camp I run. The pack also included a 3"x4" house, a large & medium bog of eternal stench pool set, 3 styles of tombstones, an elegant bed, canopy bed, throne chair, large collapsed building rubble, a tall hooded statue, a bookcase, 3 stone formations, 2 blasted trees, tables, chair, stools, barrels, a chest attached to a bag of loot, a billows arm, and a segment of iron fencing.

J'ai reçu tout au plus l'équivalent de 15 à 20 $ de terrain. La boîte n'était même pas pleine et contenait beaucoup moins de pièces que ce qu'on peut voir sur les photos d'autres acheteurs. Je comprends qu'il s'agit d'une boîte de pièces imparfaites et que le contenu peut varier, mais pour plus de 60 $, la quantité reçue est vraiment décevante. Je retourne le produit.

It's a gamble because it's a random set with some defects but even with that in mind I was pretty disappointed. Some of the serious defects including getting pieces that didn't actually finish 3d printing (i.e. missing the top section, building without rooves etc). For the price, I was hoping to get some pieces I could fix up with some effort but a lot of these are complete write offs. Some other folks have posted photos of lucky boxes, mine was mostly a graveyard set rahter than buildings (trees, tombstones) and not what I was expecting.
