Govee 16.4ft RGBIC LED Strip Lights, LED Lights for Bedroom, APP Control

This was so easy to install. I thought I might need another person to help me but I got this done by myself no problem and on the first time! Installation was as easy as finding a clean spot to stick your strip **find somewhere to temporarily stick the hanging strip so all the weight isn’t on the strip already stuck on the wall**** this way it won’t pull and put stress on adhesive because the last thing you want is to re-stick it somewhere new. It looses so much “life” because the adhesive is very strong if you do it right it will last a long time. Connecting to the app was FREE and easy. I was able to color match the pink so it all matches. The LED is set to a preset red but the app gives you a whole color wheel to blend and customize each light diode. The brightness is great. I wanted accents lights and I think I looks fantastic and even gives the “chiller” apartment a/c vent some use instead of just hanging out. I’m so sure of the water resistance and tried to place it in a way that it won’t get wet from the ac or too hot when they turn it to hear. No remote needed. The app is free and is way better than a remote that has less options needs a battery and gets lost easy. Totally recommend.

This RGB light strip by Govee is wonderful , easy installation, sticks really well to the wall and make corners . Any color you could possible want , they are bright and they look clean .Govee home app is must have for these lights , easy app setup . Only issue I ran into was on the app side of things . When I closed out the app and reopen it , my led strip wasn’t there and it wanted me to repair it . So I close out the app again reopened it and my RGB led strip light I originally paired was there and worked perfect And no issue after that.theres a bunch of effects and you can also customize your effect with the app and very easy to do . A must have for gamers room , man cave , movie theater room or office or a space your just trying to add some RGB vibes . I’m also had other brand of RGB led strips so far Govee my favorite .

I bought these specifically to add some lighting underneath my desk, and they've been perfect for what I needed. Setup was basically plug and play right out of the box. I had no issues connecting them to the Govee app either. The app found them almost instantly, and within just a few minutes I had everything installed, connected, and was already changing colors and effects from my phone. There are tons of customization options in the app, which is one of the reasons I keep buying Govee products. Installation was just as easy. The adhesive backing is surprisingly strong and has held perfectly underneath my desk so far. The lights themselves are bright, the colors look great, and they added exactly the kind of ambient lighting I wanted for my setup. For the price, I'm extremely happy with them. They're simple, inexpensive, easy to control, and do exactly what they're supposed to do. I've had great experiences with Govee products in general, and these were no exception.

Easy to hook up, with a little bit of cleaning of surface the adhesive sticks like wonders , lights are beautiful and high quality with easy to use app for the controls and the psychical remote is also simple and easy to use. Stays exactly where it was put and have seen little damage do it so doesn’t seem like anything bumping into it will break it so from what I’ve seen the durability is more than satisfactory, plus the Bluetooth connection takes less than 10 seconds

Cool lights, but bummed in 2026, these aren't smart lights, just bluetooth or app only. Was not enough detail in the description. Also, one of the lights already went out during setup

These were easy to install and have super sticky backing. Love them and the app works very well with many options. Love it!! Would buy again.

I have a floating fireplace from the 1970s that no longer actually functions as a fireplace, which means it is essentially a giant metal conversation piece hanging in my house doing absolutely nothing. Naturally, I decided it needed RGB lighting. I was VERY hesitant about these because there is an extremely fine line between “cool retro ambient lighting” and “a 14-year-old boy has commandeered the living room for his gaming setup.” Friends, we cleared the line. My dead 70s fireplace has entered its ✨disco era✨. These lights are SO much cooler than I expected. The RGBIC feature means I can have multiple colors going at once, and the app is ridiculously easy to use. I can now change the entire emotional state of my living room without even getting off the couch. Want orange and red so the fireplace can cosplay as functional? Done. Pink and purple because apparently we live inside a cocktail lounge now? Done. Moody blue because I would like to stare dramatically into the middle distance and contemplate my life choices? Done. Full rainbow because I pay the mortgage and nobody can stop me? DONE. This fireplace hasn’t produced heat in who knows how many decades, but it is currently producing an absolutely unreasonable amount of ✨vibes✨. The biggest problem is that I bought ONE Govee product thinking, “This could be fun.” Now I’m wandering around my house staring at furniture, cabinets, shelves, architectural features, and probably eventually the dog thinking, “You know what would improve this? Bluetooth-controlled lighting.” I fear I have joined a cult. Anyway, 10/10. Easy to install, easy to control, colors look fantastic, and my useless 1970s fireplace has finally found its purpose. It’s not a fireplace anymore. It’s a ✨moodplace✨.

They work nicely, the app is hard to control and the lights perpetually glow. A remote control would have been nice but for 12 bucks what do you expect? The App: The app is designed nicely but there are a few issues. When changing to music for example, there is no way just to shut it off, you have to either shut the lights off or swap back to a solid color and so on. There are some other awkward things about the application. You cannot manually save a segmented pattern you devised (which is unfortunate). You cannot select a custom color or mode for a timed event. It is possible that I am using it wrong, but I spent several hours going through it. If I am mistaken I will modify this section. The Glow: I hung these in the bedroom; they were great fun until we went to sleep—usually in the pitch dark—no longer. Instead, we have little green dots littering the ceiling. The glow persists even when unplugged. The picture I submitted is the green glow while unplugged. The Pros: It's 12 bucks. Some app features. There are a great many patterns and sequences. The adhesive quality seems to work very well. It's 12 bucks.
