Fantastic Tent – Spacious, Lightweight, and Reliable!
We used this tent for a recent family camping trip and were genuinely impressed. It’s incredibly easy to set up and surprisingly spacious inside — comfortably fitting four of us with plenty of room for bags and gear. The material feels durable and held up well in wind and rain. I especially liked the tunnel design, which provides great headroom and a large awning area that's perfect for sitting out or cooking under cover. It's also really lightweight for its size, making it ideal for short breaks and would also, be suitable for a couple of weeks camping. Highly recommend this tent to anyone looking for a reliable and roomy shelter for family trips or group adventures!

Sturdy
Splendid! We used our recently for a site camp at a festival and it was very good. It stood up in wind and even against the odd blind drunk camper stumbling our way.

A nice design but falling behind the competition
Please note that I’m reviewing the older none UL version of this tent. 2023. Oh wow this tent ticks a lot of boxes. For me, someone who likes to go wild camping and campsite camping. It's the perfect balance between the two styles of camping. If you're going for a multi day trip to a campsite then you've got plenty of room for clothes and food you'll need for your stay. If you're going wild camping then at 2.7kg it is a little on the heavy side. Yet if you are going with someone else then you can split the poles and tent between the two of you. The green blends in perfectly with its surroundings and isn't that luminous colour you see with some tents. But the space inside is incredible and the front porch or vestibule is ideal if it's raining and you want to rest. I have the Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 and as highly as I rate that....I think that this is even better. 2026 three years later and it’s been a good tent. I have found a small rip in the side of the tent and I have been super careful with the tent. So my initial review of 5 stars has been downgraded to 4 stars with that in mind. I came on here now three years later to see how the new UL version fared as I was happy with my initial Naturehike Opalus 3. The tent does get quite a bit of condensation and sags in the middle of the bedroom area. I’ve seen another brand of tent with fibreglass poles with a blackout bedroom and a similar design at £140 which also has a door at the back of the tent. So this is quite a jump in price for just aluminium poles and with less features. That one is also 25cm higher in the middle than this model which means I can sit in a chair on that one. So that’s another star knocked off and my final review score is 3 out of 5. The basic design is great but other tents offer more for less money now.

Roomy
Have used this tent spring through to autumn, no leaks or any other issues. A great lightweight tent with lots of room, although low profile. Stands up well to winds, easy to pitch. Used as a solo tent backpacking

Wet Wet Wet . literally
This tent looks ace . material seems really thick and of good quality , the zips are great no snagging at all ,the poles are good and sturdy honestly thought id had a fantastic bargain until I put it up in the garden and left it out in moderate rain all night . deary deary me I think sleeping under a cardboard box would be better protection from the rain than this !! did i open this tent to find a few small leaks ... nope it was soaked literally soaked !! the whole of the groundsheet in the bedroom area was saturated, !! thank goodness I didn't just take this camping and hope for the best . surely waterproof is a basic requirement absolutely no point creating a tent that doesn't have such feature its like selling a fireguard made of chocolate . was looking to purchase sleep pads n bags in this make but after seeing the performance of this tent I think I will give it a miss.

Great Tent
After reviewing different tents, I have finally decided to go ahead and purchase the Opalus 3 from Naturhike for few main reasons, its size packed and weight (ok for bikepacking, you can even get it smaller if you use a compression bag to store the tent, to buy separately), it’s very easy to set up, it comes with a floor mat for the sleeping side (not the tunnel), it’s quite big, a lot of room to be able to cook and eat inside if the weather is not good, very good value for money. I can’t wait to go bikepacking to be able to test it fully.

Ordered two Naturehike tents, both damaged and unusable!
Two Naturehike tents purchased, two Naturehike tents found to be damaged in manufacture! On my initial inspection, the tents appeared to be okay. However, after erecting them, it was obvious that both tents had holes in the rainfly. The Naturehike TeePee tent had two holes due to the material being snagged under the needle of the sewing machine. The second tent, a Opalus 3 had a ladder in the rainfly material 12 cms in length (please see photos). I contacted Naturehike and over three months exchanged 18 emails in the hope to resolve the issues. Plenty of apologies, plenty of delivery dates for replacement rainflys , all of which came to nothing. Even promises to replace both tents for free! Which was then reneged upon. Then came the promises of partial compensation of £15. The excuses that I have received from Naturehike are contradictory and nonsensical. I have received nothing after months of frustrating correspondence. Thankfully, I have a second-hand Berghaus Cairngorm 3, so I am still able to go camping. The Berghaus Cairngorm 3 is a superior quality tent, comes with a repair kit and is not full of holes! Please consider spending your hard-earned money with a company that respects its customers and inspects its tents prior to sending them out! Update 30/05/2025. I received two deliveries of replacement rain flys for my Naturehike tents, also a partial refund of £11.00 for each tent for the inconvenience caused. Very much appreciated, but I feel that if I had not continually harassed Naturehike via email, I would not have gained this successful result. Lessons to be learnt from this transaction. Hopefully, customer service and quality control will be improved soon. All that said, thank you, Naturehike, we got there in the end. :)

Durable, roomy, great tent for 2+
Ok, nearly a year later I'm ready to review this tent. Pros: 1. Room, this thing is huge inside. The vestibule has spoiled me. 2. Durability. We have put this beast through the ringer and it still holds up great. No issues, no tears. 3. Weatherproofing. We just weathered 2 days of alpine storms, blowing winds, driving rain. Not a drop inside. Cons: 1. Weight. At 7ish lbs she's a big girl. 2. Those f#$!$ stakes. What garbage. Replace them immediately. They bend/break as soon as you hit a pebble. 3. The stakes are required. If you can't stake it, you can't use it. So no setting up on granite. Ok, we have had it for over a year now. We just finished a month backpacking through bridger, uinta, fishlake and now the sawtooth range. Rugged unforgiving terrain. Night time temps form 15°-40° roughly. Rain storms, light snow and heavy winds. I am now spoiled. I know we could reduce weight with an ultralight. But being able to stow all our gear in the vestibule, have both mats out. And still have room to change clothes... its such a camp luxury. Thanks to Naturehike for building this robust durable beauty.

Bke Packing 🔝

An absolute palace, still very light
This tent is very well made for the price. Pegs are proper, reflective guy lines, outer fly attached to inner tent already, ground sheet supplied as part of original pack, strong poles that are colour coded idiot proof, easy to put up, massive vestible and huge screened sleeping pod. Good weatherproof ventilation ports make it condensation free and the back fly (even in the 2) can be rolled up creating maximum ventilation and a great bay window in good weather. 2.6k with everything.

Resistente e spaziosa
Ideale in campeggio o in paesi nordici.
