Easy to use, comfortable but to early to see results

have used this for a year. trying to be philosophical about the experience. short answer: did not work for hair regrowth so focusing on the experience as a whole. my dr mentioned red light therapy for hair growth 2+ yrs ago. even w his support, i was skeptical. sounded like pseudoscience. a few months later, i started to read more about it and was convinced it was at least worth a try. used it according to schedule for a year with no new growth. theres enough evidence out there to believe it has worked for some, just not me. i would rate the technical performance of the product a five. all the lights are still working, cord and control are still intact. ease of use, also a five. kept it in the box and near where i used it. pulled it out, plugged it in. 25 minutes 3-4 times/wk while you read or watch tv. easy. high marks for customer service and i also liked their shampoo and conditioner altho they are a bit pricey. so if i’m rating the overall experience, four. was worth a shot.

We received the iRestore Cap three weeks ago. We were pleasantly surprised at how well constructed it is; very professional with sturdy construction. Looks exactly as depicted online. We have been using it following the instructions. It fits my husband's head perfectly, but is large on my head. I was a bit miffed at the fact that there were no extra pads included with the cap for a better fit for smaller heads. When I contacted their customer service I was received well by Madelaine who sent me the nicest email I have ever received from a customer service representative. She gracefully said she would send additional foam pads and included precise instructions for their use. My husband and I subsequently decided to also purchase the face mask and have started using it. It is too soon to comment on results from the hair growth cap as it is a test of patience, however, we have seen some positive results with the face mask. My rosacea has improved somewhat which gives hope that it will continue to improve. Also, my husband had a small skin bump on his forehead which has completely disappeared. I will add additional comments as time goes on. Really hoping for good results with both especially the hair growth cap. Fingers crossed.

I’ve only had for a week but what amazes me is it is just so easy to use! I’ve already noticed fewer hairs coming off on my comb! So much easier than trying to get that foam on all the spots!

At this point I am sorry that I ever started treatment with this helmet! I’ve been using it as directed for the past seven weeks. Before purchasing, I researched light therapy helmets and nowhere did I see the warning to expect significant loss of hair in the first three months. Turns out, that’s what happens. I am distressed beyond words. I have lost so much hair. I no longer have bangs; they’re gone. I am now just praying to get back to where I started. I am going to have to buy a wig to get through the next months until my hair (hopefully) grows back. I’m going to have to stick it out since I’ve gone this far but had I known what was going to happen, I NEVER would have started. I would have stuck with serums and supplements. Were they sorry and wanted to give my money back? Was I going to have to return the' helmet from hell' to get my substantial amount of money back? I didn't know from that vague response. I have now spent hundreds of dollars on hair pieces and visits to my hair stylist to try to cope with my baldness on the front of my head, so I felt as if it would be nice to get some kind of refund from the perpetrator. I did as it said and replied, Full Refund. Then I got the response they probably should have led with. Madelaine from the Customer Satisfaction Team sent a lengthy email describing the cycle of hair loss and offering hope that it will work itself out if I keep at it. No offer of any money back, just an offer to extend the warranty period from 6 to 12 months. Whoopie! I stand by my warning. Don't try this helmet for hair growth unless you are willing to go nearly bald before it gets better. I am beside myself. I hate trying hair pieces to cover my baldness. I didn't need that before I used this helmet. I truly wish I had never tried this stupid helmet. Use your money for supplements and serums. They won't cause your little hair that you have to fall out! I'll keep updating my review every few weeks to let you know how I progress.... BUT I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HELMET!!!!

Easy to use. I like using it every other day. 25 mins. goes by quickly; wear it while I am on the laptop or watching TV. I find it a good tool in keeping hair loss at bay.

My wife has been using the iRestore system for over a year now with outstanding results. To the point that her long time hairdresser is asking how her hair is getting so thick. Anyway, we had a problem with the device and contacted customer support. I'm pleased to report that our experience was outstanding. They resolved the issue and were very responsive throughout the process.

This did absolutely nothing to help me with either new hair growth or prevent hair shedding. Been using it religiously for over 12 months, started using it every two days then switched to every three days. Decided to stop using it now as I'm not realizing any benefit, only worsening. Haven't seen any new growth since using this product, no improvement at all in hair volume, texture, strength or quality. Finding the same amount of hair in the drain, same amount of hair on the floor and in my comb. The product claims to have FDA approval, but only for laser use and not as a hair growth product. The product claims to generate no heat, but you'll notice warming of your scalp in the 25 minutes of individual use (could just be poor ventilation). Frankly, my scalp sweats while I use this device. The cord also makes movement very restrictive during use. I found myself scheduling my day around time to fit in use of this product was a complete waste of time. If you're using other products in combination with this device, be careful about application. I found applying Rogaine even a few hours before or after this device causes significant scalp irritation, probably because of the additional blood flow, but don't think the combination of the two products helped in my situation. Be skeptical of any claims in improvement with hair volume or quality within weeks or even a month or two of use. It takes months to see improvements. It you're not seeing new tiny hair growth, or reduction in shedding, it's not working. Probably best to focus on health, diet and nutrition rather than waste your money on this. I consider myself to be a reasonably healthy person, so I think I'm doing all the right things.

I have just started using the device this week. So I will be posting more updates in the future as and how I continue using it. Instructions are fairly easy to understand and the device is simple to use use as such. For someone who’s had multiple hair transplants. I am starting to use this alongside minoxidil. The device is fairly lightweight and fits well on my head. The remote button is easy and simple to use and the LED timer screen lets me keep a track of time conveniently. I cannot comment on how effective it is at the moment. Based on the videos I have seen on YouTube it’s recommended to use the device three times a week so that’s what I will continue to do and I’ll keep up updating about my progress. I have only used this product for a couple of weeks so far but find it comfortable and convenient to use. I set a repeat alarm on my iPhone to remind me to use it every other evening. I did not purchase the battery as I have an outlet by my chair and since I use it in the evening while watching tv I find this convenient enough. It fit well right out of the box so I did not have to use different foam pads to change the fit. It will take a few months to see how effective it will be for me but so far I am happy with my purchase.
