Fantastic "bunch a bugs" (insects that is....). Large, fairly accurate and bright. Good to get one of the bug books (Bugs A to Z)--which is really about insects and arachnids/scorpions--to help the child learn the names and match them to the pictures in the book. Great toy to help kids dispel their possible fears of creepy creatures. The large monarch butterfly is a showstopper with its flexible wings. The insects are somewhat pliable which add to the fun and decrease breakage. I purchased one set and quickly bought another for my little neighbor boy. I recommend this for all young kids.

These bugs were for my son who happens to be going through a bug phase. He loved them! The butterfly (the largest bug in the group) is bigger than my palm! The other bugs, are the size of my palm or slightly smaller. Like I said, the size of these things are great! The detail is really good. We looked up each bug on google as a fun activity to find a bug that most closely looks like the ones we got. So far I know we have a blue longhorn beetle, a rhinocerous beetle, a praying mantis, a grasshopper and a Boisea Trivittata. Anyways, a great buy!

The quality is excellent, and it never smells like any strange chemicals. My kids love it.

Great set of insects. Love the large size and colors. The material looks sturdy and it does not have a weird smell.Did not like that the names of the insects are not included. Both Amazon and manufacturer website descriptions are conflicting. There are a couple of insects that are hard to identify (even after googling). Overall, I am very pleased and my son likes them and is enjoying learning their names.

Love the detail and size of these toys. We saw them at a kids center in a state park and I found them on Amazon immediately. When we got the package, the smell of chemicals and plastic was overwhelming to say the least. I would not get these for kids who are still in the *chewing on everything* phase. There is nothing safe about inhaling those times or sucking those chemicals off a toy.We had them air out for a week or two outside, in the garage and shade as I didn't want the colors to fade. When we did bring them in for winter, unfortunately my dogs found them extremely attractive and chewed them up.I would buy them again as outdoor toys but probably never as a gift to open up and stink at a birthday party.

This set is pretty awesome. I purchased 2 of them. They are large! some are very colorful, be watchful of younger ones as some of the legs, antenna's could be sharper than they appear. Seller was everything as described, fast with shipping. Some items may take longer to dry as they have holes where water/chemicals for sanitizing could get trapped. Overall, very fun set with many different insects to explore.

I actually ordered this bag of bugs to get the fly to use on a cow daisy wreath I made. I then gave the rest of the bugs to my grandkids. My GD likes the butterfly.

Thee bugs a BIG! For my 2 year old son he saw them and had to have them, we ordered and waited impatiently for them to arrive. He is extremely happy with them. My other kiddos love them as well. They are very durable, nice and thick material so they hold up to boys being boys with bugs. Worth the money and would defiantly purchase again and as a gift for an insect loving little one.
