Are robo-grips USA made?

These are not the Craftsman Robo-grips and are NOT made in the USA. They function like the original, but are not made as well.

I have arthritis and need them to open soda bottles. Are they big enough?

I just checked for you and you can just barely get the 7” around the cap and it will work but the larger robo grip worked with much more ease if you can grip the handle being that it’s larger. The opening size on the small 7” robogrip is 1 1/4” vs the larger model which has a 2” opening. Either way.... I would highly suggest you purchase both sizes as I’m sure they will provide endless uses for you with arthritis. Hands down, one of my favorite tools of all time.

where are these made?

I don't know where they are made but I can tell you the awesome pliers.

Is the 7" large enough to work on garden hose connections?

It opens to 1 1/4 inch, that may not be big enough for a garden hose. I have a 10"- 12" robo grip for bigger jobs. They are great pliers!!
