36 years in the Army. This is one of the best pieces of equipment that the US Government has ever managed to field...period. If you are the outdoor type, this needs to be in your bag. If it isn't, you deserve to be cold.

extremely scratchy and rough. My son would have to wear two or three shirts to be able to tolerate the rough texture. Plus the size is very small for what I ordered...like a toddler+ size. Surprised this is a "genuine" military issue. Won't buy another and will donate this one to charity with the lesson learned: Get what you pay for.

Wish they had it in large. This is a great sweater for keeping warm, but it is a bit scratchy as mentioned by other reviewers. This is typical of Army stuff, made to be effective and sturdy, not a luxury item. I had two from my time in the Army, but they are both giving up the ghost after 20 years.

Very warm! I am 5’4” and 140lbs and men’s small is usually a bit loose but this is quite snug. I can layer over and under it and it is very warm, great for hunting in the cold.

Sm is not a common size for men. Had to return

I gave it a 2 because it very itchy, not like the one I have that I got in the military. It's very tight at the waist, but I due wear it because I like the style, just wish it was like the original.

Bought it for my son. He loves the sweater but the arm pits ripped out at the first washing.
