Will the hinges work for inset cabinet doors?

These hinges are Universal, suitable for Full Overlay / Partial Overlay / Inset.

I am building a blanket chest with a lid that is 3/4" wider all the way around. is this the right hinge to allow the lid to open and close correctly?

I can’t be certain but I believe you did will bond with a 3/4” overlap. I used a1/4” overlap and it works perfectly. Anything much larger and I think the door will hit the cabinet as it opens. Again, not sure but I would be concerned.
