The best brush cleaning system for preserving expensive artist's brushes.
The smooth aluminum coil inside will never damage your expensive brushes. Can be used for any medium. Water for acrylic and other water-based paints, or turpentine for alkyd or oil paints. I tried another jar, which had a dome shaped screen inside, but the screen setup is really hard on brushes, as the bristles tend to get snagged in the screen and damaged. The only drawback to this system is that the jar can be difficult to clean.

I love this brush cleaner
I have tried several brush cleaners but this one is my favorite. The spring inner works well to clean the paint off the brush while I am cleaning it. However, that same spring is a bit of a chore to remove and clean. It is not enough of a problem to dissuade me form using, but it is enough to reduce the number of times I clean the jar and spring. Just keeping a lot of cleaner in the jar.

Arrived broken
Really want this item since I am in a painting class. I've used one before and it was a good product, but the item has arrived broken and now I have to wait even longer for another one. Needs stronger and more durable shipping packaging.

I’m a professional artist and highly recommend the Silicoil brush cleaning jar. I am a mixed media artist who finishes in oils and this tool is excellent for keeping the muck out of your brushes. Highly recommend.

Do not buy on Amazon! The product is great, but they are way over priced. If you have Hobby Lobby near by, it 10$ and other retailers have it online for less.

Teuer, aber jeden Cent wert
Ich war ehrlich gesagt erst ziemlich skeptisch, weil der Preis für ein Glas mit einer Metallfeder doch recht hoch ist. Umso positiver bin ich jetzt überrascht.Das Glas ist wirklich groß und stabil, das Material wirkt hochwertig und es lässt sich gut verschließen. Besonders gut gefällt mir die abgerundete Metallfeder. Dadurch werden die Pinsel beim Reinigen nicht unnötig beschädigt.Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich das mal sagen würde, aber ich würde den Preis tatsächlich jederzeit wieder bezahlen. Für mich eine richtig gute Anschaffung und definitiv eine Empfehlung.

Fragile glass!!
Horrible. It came completely shattered and now I cannot use it. It is glass and had no protection whatsoever! Just came in a cardboard paper bag with no protection. Just the glass jar. I am absolutely disappointed.

Cleans brushes well
I find this container a good way to keep solvents in and my brushes clean.
