Can you use just one earbud at a time or do they both have to be on ?

Hi, yes you can (use one at any time and/or use both if you want).

How is the quality of this product?

Generally very nice, Not loud but excellent sound quality. Fantastic battery life, Absolutely love the case. I've had them over a year daily use might charge twice a week at worst. Stands up to moisture exposure fairly well also.

size & port: how large is the case and what charging port does it have?

It’s a USB-C type for charging. Just as a guess on size of case it’s daily big compared to others, I’m guessing around 3-4 inches long, close to 1 inch in diameter.
