These are exactly what I was hoping to find. They work perfectly, my plants look healthier now that I am watering them properly. They arrived quickly and at an excellent price. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve planted so many new trees, flowers, and shrubs the last few years and want to make sure they survive. The challenge is that a lot of them have the same reaction when they have too much water as when they don’t get enough. This little tool has allowed me to target my watering by being able to quickly figure out if they actually need water or not! It pokes into the ground (even clay) easily and the gauge is simple to read. My plants are thriving and I realized my guesses were usually the opposite of the actual soil conditions. Save yourself money, time, and effort and get this. So worth it!!

Not digital, not exact, not expensive, but provides enough information to prevent over watering or under watering of potted and planted bushes, shrubs and vegetables.

I am not a gardener and can never tell if my plants have sufficient water. This meter helps me determine how much water to give them so they can stay healthy. It's easy to use and seems to be accurate.

I love this water meter and I'm so happy I got the longer stem. This long stem makes is so easy to check my large plants and go deep into the soil to check for any water. I tend to over water and have killed so many plants so I am hoping this helps me keep my plants healthy!

Update at bottom of review!!! Not changing my 1 star because I don't believe my soil was too loose as it was 1 part regular soil, 1 part succulent and a scoop of perlite which doesn't match the soil type description explained to me of why it might not be working. I did not test outside on soil so that was my mistake. They also said they do not compensate for reviews so I was incorrect in saying that. So here's some more info after my review on some advice from sellers if you might need it to make a decision or if reading this after purchase and product isn't working quite right. *I bought based off reviews on this but what I got is obviously defective and will be returning. I just repotted 1st plant 30 min ago and soaked it until water ran through and it's reading basically dry when it's obvious with the naked eye the soil it wet. 2md plant was watered yesterday and is at least slightly moist but it's reading dry dry and it is not dry dry at all. Better off using my finger to gauge water. This device sucks. Very curious results in the beginning which we thought were showing us that our pots were overwatered - following this we did not water the pots for many days. However, after getting many "wet" results from pots we checked the soil and it was it was dry. Not only this but borders that were soaked by us we checked them half an hour later and they showed as completely dry - not even moist. I live in the UAE and I suspect that either this device is defective or it's not working properly in such warm environment.
