as soon i plugged it in with my amp it had smoke coming out of it and the pedal got fried fortunately it didnt damage my amp and other pedal !! total waste of 6000 INR

Clean up your act!
This is an effect every guitar player needs, but it's such a drag spending your hard earned money on. Why? Because it not a fancy new effect to add to your sound. However, it is crucial in making the sounds you do have and love more usable. As I stated above, every guitarist needs one and it's a drag spending a lot of money on one..... That's where the Stax Noise Killler comes in. Super effective and easy to use, plus it has the coolest paint job I've seen in a noise killer all for 40$ ! Get it!

Tone Thief
The good: The actual noise gate works great.The bad: Your tone after it's passed through this pedal.Don't get one of these...they are tone thieves. I tried boosting the signal going into it to compensate but it doesn't work. Your tone will be quieter, with many missing frequencies once this pedal is done with it.

Does what a noise gate should
No nonsense noise gate that works well. Mini size pedal is perfect for clearing some room on a pedal board. It's a simple circuit so there is no reason for a large footprint. Accurate knob lets you clip exactly where you want, and you can select 'soft' or 'hard' clipping modes. I mostly use it to tame hiss on a high gain tube amp and it leaves the rest of my signal clean and unchanged. Footswitch feels solid, but it's a pedal you pretty much leave on all the time so it will probably last forever.
