Do NOT waste your money like I did
I dislocated my pinky toe on New Year's Day. Urgent Care sent me home in a ProCare shoe which I have found comfortable and my foot feels protected. But I wanted a less clunky shoe just to wear in the apartment and this looked lighter weight. I literally just threw away ~$15. It is unwearable. The Women's Large says it's for sizes 8.5-10. I am a size 8.5 and my toes are hanging over the front. Not only is the shoe uncomfortable but I'd be way too nervous to wear these out and about because I do not feel like my foot is well protected. And I only have a dislocated toe! Can't imagine someone having a more serious issue, like surgery, and wearing this shoe. Unfortunately this vendor does not allow returns so throwing it in the garbage is my only option. What's ridiculous is that the ProCare shoe which I am very happy with costs less $ on Amazon than this shoe. I highly suggest that as an alternative to this product.

Small
Seems well made but the size large is for a woman’s 8 to 10 I wear a size 7 1/2 to 8 US size and my toes hangover the end of the shoe which defeats the purpose of protecting my broken toe. I tried to return it because it is so small and order an extra large and you do not sell an extra large nor do you take returns. I feel like this shoe should definitely be marketed as a small to medium definitely not a large. I will not order from this company again.

.great after a day at work when my foot is starting to swell
12 weeks post op, and I still wouldn't want to try and drive without it....great after a day at work when my foot is starting to swell. That being said, I would not use it for ANY other purpose. The sole is completely flat, and it's a universal sole, meaning it's meant for the right OR left foot. Impossible to walk in. No arch support, no flex. But I bought it for driving, and it's got five stars for that!

Shoe mis-sized. Unwearable and NON returnable!
This Darco Softie Surgical Shoe is badly mis-sized. It is nearly 1" shorter than the Darco Med Surg shoe in the same size, Women's Large. I have an unwearable shoe and because I can't exchange it for a shoe that could fit, I guess what I have is a paper weight or a door stop because I can't use it as a shoe.I have learned that I shouldn't do business with companies that don't allow returns.

Don’t buy if unsure if size will fit. Order one above your usual.
Large is too small my big toe over hangs.
