Best Buy for Air Fryer
This was an excellent purchase. Very user friendly, easy to maintain and clean. The overall size of the COSORI Air Fryer 5 QT is perfect for small to large size cooking. I am not a fan of too many kitchen appliances but I will say that this is well worth the investment for what it does and the rewards that it yields to your time management, nutrition and economic needs. Overall design and color is sleek, and simple, a little more boxy for my taste and space availability but I am able to live with it for the benefits that it yields. Food experimentation was successful each time. The lamb chops came out excellent although I would try a lower temperature to begin the cooking process and finish it with the preset temperature at a shorter interval. The steak fries was also an excellent tester that passed the experimentation. The giant prawns cooked to the exact specification of tenderness on the preset temperature for seafood. This appliance is powerful from the standpoint of its cooking ability. I can put the ingredients in an 20-30 minutes later its done to the perfection that I require without having to spare a moment to keep an eye on it while I am busy with another task. I especially enjoy the fact that it is an easy to clean and maintain kitchen appliance. The basket is easy to clean even after it cools down and the crustiness from the food hardens. A quick soak in warm soapy water after the basket cools down and soft sponge does the trick. No residue of smell left in the pan at all. The inner housing can be easily wiped down with a damp cloth when the entire appliance cools down makes for easy maintenance - no more than 1 minute. It does make a huge difference in the prep and cooking when you need a quick and healthy meal after a long day of work. The COSORI 5 quart was the best after looking at a plethora of other air fryers and also having tested with my sister's (not COSORI brand). The cooking basket height and width is excellent - spacious cooking, especially if you like pans that give you room to maneuver the ingredients. The overall size of the appliance for the countertop would be slightly larger for a small kitchen with less countertop space but if you have room to spare you would hardly notice it taking up room; but for what this appliance does, I would say that the space issue becomes a non-issue. The initial and subsequent cooking in the air fryer did not yield an odd smell that you would normally get from non-stick surfaces. I did follow the suggestion to preheat and I did it with a bowl of water-vinegar solution in the air fryer for about 20 min cycle two times. The price point for this appliance was reasonable especially for what you are getting. HIGHLY recommend this particular model of COSORI.

Best invention since the microwave oven.
The simple intuitive design makes cooking with this air fryer a real pleasure. As someone who has never used an air fryer, I found learning how to use it very easy. My main reason for buying it was to reduce the amount of oil in my diet from deep fried foods. Every time I fill my deep fryer it costs $13 to $15 in the USA, but with the air fryer many foods only require a light misting of oil. I use an oil pump sprayer that significantly reduces oil cost. I figure the thing will pay for itself in oil and energy cost with the year. Now I don't have to heat up my kitchen in the hot summer with a big gas oven just to hear a few fries or roast some chicken. The speed, cooking functions, timer and heat levels are perfect for what I use it for. I love the way this thing makes crispy chicken wings, frozen battered fish, onion rings and French Fries (Crisps for the UK folks) and OMG! you should see all the amazing recipes I've discovered for this thing. It's like going on a culinary adventure everyday trying out all the new things I can make with it. Now here's the part I really love about it,.. the way it's built. I totally dismantled it and examined every part, every component, safety features, and the circuit board. (I'm weird like that) Actually I went much deeper into it. Then I did some research on replacement parts available. Then I studied the design looking for that "Built in obsolescence", you know, that one thing most manufactures build into stuff to make the item fail after a set period of time. I could find any! The ceramic coating on the cooking surfaces is really good, I wouldn't use abrasive cleaners on it so everything will glide and slide nicely. It cleans really easy but there are some areas between the handle and outside of the shaker pan that can't be accessed without taking the handle off. I recommend doing that once a month if you use it a lot or more if something nasty gets between there. Don't buy the model that has app control or notifications, it's gimmicky and unnecessary. If you've never used an air fryer, after a small learning period, it will be your new favorite kitchen appliance.

My Huband Loves It!
This is our second Cosori Air Fryer and it continues as the best appliance we have purchased lately. My husband cooks his own meals and this is his "go to" heat source. He uses it daily for dinner when cooking beef or chicken or pork. It is easy to use and very versatile. With the ready made parchment liners he can easily keep it clean and it fits perfectly under one of the cupboards next to the stove.

Love it.
I’ve only used it once so far and loved it. Very easy to use and clean up was a breeze. Perfect size and not too heavy to lift from the shelf to the counter. I really like the ceramic coating feels healthier. I bought it on recommendation from Bobbi Parrish. Thank you.

Overall good, but some annoyances
Overall, a good air fryer, performs well, and is a good size. Okay value, get's upgraded to good value if you nuy it on sale. I especially appreciate the fryer's ability to go up to 450 F, which other fryers don't - they max out at 400 F. Those extra 50 degrees help if you like a nice crisp taste without drying out your food. Have by now used mine for over four months almost daily, and it has completely replaced my little toaster oven for anything except, well - toast. So, why only four stars? - The biggest annoyance of this (at least my) unit is the touch screen: it sometimes (but not always) just doesn't respond; especially annoying if I halt the cooking process (using the "start/stop" field/button as described in the manual) to shake or turn the food over. On occasion, the only thing that gets it working again is unplugging it, plugging it back in, setting the (remaining) time and temperature again and so on, and then it starts. Really takes away from the "ease of use", which IMHO is an important reason to buy an air fryer. - The insert fits, but is a bit loose. You want to be careful when, for example, gently dumping French fries on a serving plate, or the (really hot) metal insert (frying platform) comes right down with your food. That can make a little mess, but, more annoyingly, slightly burn your hand if you're holding the plate up while transferring your food and it falls on it. So, I now know better, leave the plate on the table, and push the insert down with a wooden spoon so it doesn't fall out. Of course, if the silicon spacers would fit a bit better, that wouldn't be necessary. And, you really wnat to use the insert, it's important to get good hot air flow around the food. Good aspects: Basket and insert are easy to clean (gentle dish soap, hot water and a gentle dish brush work best), the timer works, and basically no or very little oil is needed. Lastly: Don't buy the 5 qt size that I bought if you're preparing food for more than two adults. For a family of four, it's probably big enough for appetizers, but for a main course for three or four, get a larger unit. Those images showing an almost overflowing basket of food shown for every fryer on Amazon give the wrong idea; you really want to spread your food out (single layer is best), and avoid having a heap of fries or chicken tenders. It might still work, but you'll have to shake and turn your food many more times to avoid uneven cooking.

Best airfryer that exists
I love this airfryer !!! I have had it for a few months now and it's my favorite kitchen appliance! I like that it's silent, preheating is only 4 min and it gets it pretty warm. I have used two other air fryers before and I never liked them because they would leave this weird plastic taste on the food, it really made me wonder how can people enjoy that taste 🤢 but i decided what the heck let me try 1 more airfryer, after comparing different this one kept winning. When I purchased it I followed the instructions to get it ready and once it was done I decided to cook fries and omg the flavor and crispness was delicious. I cooked chicken thigh and that's what made me fall in love, it was cooked perfectly and the chicken was so darn juicy 😋 the color and use of this is so easy. Honestly if you're debating on an airfryer get this one, you won't regret it 😇

Much nicer than my previous brand of air fryer.
I have only had this fryer a week or so, but have used it several times already for cooking and reheating items. While it has the same size basket as my previous air fryer, this fryer has an overall smaller footprint, superior control interface, and overall appears to be a much better construction. It is overall easier to clean, although I have yet to try it in the dishwasher. It is also much quieter, easier to access the basket, and seems to cool quicker after use.

Best Air Fryer at ANY Price
I should begin by saying that I hate to cook, but this appliance has made a huge difference for me. I am much more likely to prepare a healthy meal since I got this air fryer than my usual prepared meals (with all the preservatives and unhealthy ingredients included in processed foods). Here are my observations and pros and cons. 1) I was determined to get an air fryer after reading about how much healthier it is to cook with one, the use of less oil and all the other benefits. I read multiple articles and reviews, and the Cosori came up came up on top on nearly every single one I read. 2) The Cosori is not only great at this price point, but good at any price. My daughter had a much more expensive one, about 3-4x more expensive. It was big and clunky and she eventually disposed of it and bought a Cosori. She is as thrilled with hers as I am with mine. 3) The more expensive air fryer she had took up more space and had the wonderful feature that you could fold it up when not in use. The only problem was, she never folded it up. My friend had the same brand, and she said the same. You pay a lot more for this feature - and never use it. So, the appliance is more expensive and takes up more room with no benefit. 4) A common benefit of using an air fryer is the that the cooking mess (grease splattering everywhere) is eliminated. All the mess stays within the appliance. 5) The HUGE benefit to the Cosori is how easy it is to clean. The information says it is dishwasher safe, and it actually is. I have had mine for nearly 4 years now and I almost always put it in the dishwasher. The air fryer looks like it's brand new. Nothing sticks to the non-stick surface, and it comes out of the dishwasher perfectly clean. One caveat here - I put the basket on the stop rack of my dishwasher. That works because my top rack is tall. It may not fit in the top rack in all dishwashers, and I personally wouldn't put it in the bottom rack. However, even if you have to hand wash it, it takes seconds because of the non-stick and flat surfaces. 6) The crisper tray is perfect. It allows any excess oil to drip into the bottom, so your food is not sitting in the grease. In addition, the more expensive air fryer my daughter bought had a steel tray with little tiny holes. It was not non-stick and was an incredible headache to clean. You nearly had to stick a brush bristle in every single little hole - hundreds of them. It was a nightmare. 7) Because the oil drips off the food and into the bottom of the basket, nothing I have cooked taste greasy - even bacon comes out crispy and as UN-greasy as bacon can be. 8) I fix a lot of chicken dishes in the air fryer and chicken comes out SO much more tender and moist. One time I cooked chicken in the oven because I was using the air fryer for something else. In spite of using a food thermometer to ensure that I didn't overcook it, it came out MUCH dryer and tougher. I haven't cooked chicken in the oven since then. 9) Everything I have cooked comes out tasting better in the air fryer. The only thing that wasn't perfect was a hamburger, but nothing tastes like a fat, juicy hamburger fresh from the grill. Compared to pan frying a hamburger, though., the air fryer hamburger tastes much better. 10) I don't use the presets. They may work for some people, but I find it's better to set the temperature and time manually. Contrary to what one other reviewer said, the touchscreen works perfectly. You don't have to keep jabbing the screen; it responds immediately. 11) Using a food thermometer is pretty much a must. If you don't want to waste a bunch of food by determining the time and temperature by trial and error, it helps to set the time for less than you think it will take. You can then check the temperature and decide if it needs more time. I found this especially helpful with seafood - most directions call for too much time (or a temperature that is too high) and your seafood will come out overcooked and tough. I highly recommend checking the food part of the way through the cooking process and making adjustments as needed. 12) I do find that food cooks more quickly in the air fryer. I LOVE this because I hate spending time waiting for my food to cook. 13) This particular size air fryer may not work for more than 2, or maybe 3 people. It works perfectly for me, but I would probably want the bigger size if I were cooking for a larger family. 14) This appliance doesn't take up a large amount of space; it's approximately a 12" cube. I would still use it even if it were big and I had to remove everything else from my counters, though! I have not found a single negative for this Cosori air fryer. If you are looking for an air fryer, I don't think you can do better than this one.

Great. A Game Changer! 👍
We’re delighted so far with this Cosori Air Fryer. 👍 Great size and sleek design, low noise level, very easy to use and clean, excellent choice of instant cook options, and all of our food has been perfectly cooked in minimal time compared to using our oven. 👍 It’s so easy to add an extra minute or more if you want items to be crisper (ie. we don’t like anaemic sausages 😆), and the half-way reminder option to Shake or Turnover food is ideal. 👍 We’d definitely buy this model again and highly recommend it. Enjoy!

Its exactly as I'd hoped
This is a really great air fryer with easy to use menu options, perfect sized square basket and cleanup is a breeze. The small size means it fits under my upper cupboards and also on my 12" tall storage shelf. I couldn't have chosen a better brand or model. I waited to long to buy an air fryer, I'm happy I waited until I found this brand. The only 1 minor issue, the beeps for the Shake reminder and Cycle End are so quiet they might as well not even be there. And that's when I'm in the same room, much less elsewhere in the house.

Easy to use
As a vegetarian, I’ve always been on the lookout for kitchen appliances that make healthy, tasty cooking faster and easier — and this air fryer absolutely delivers! It has quickly become one of the most used appliances in my kitchen. From crispy aloo tikkis and golden-brown samosas to perfectly roasted vegetables and crunchy paneer bites, everything turns out amazing — with little to no oil. Even classic Indian snacks like bhindi fries, masala corn, and stuffed mushrooms come out with the perfect texture, minus the greasy feel. What I love: • Healthy Cooking: Uses 80–90% less oil, but keeps the taste intact. • Time-Saver: Most dishes are done in under 15–20 minutes. • Easy Cleanup: Non-stick basket and dishwasher-safe parts make it very low-maintenance. • Versatile: Works great for baking, roasting, and even reheating leftovers without turning them soggy.

Great size. Easy to use. Affordable.
I have two. They’re THAT good. Plus I bought one for my parents. Great size. The low height is what initially caused me to purchase this particular air fryer. It fits perfectly on our boat with a lower overhead upper cabinet height. I really do highly recommend this. So good for making bacon. It contains all of the grease inside of the unit rather than all over your range. Clean up is really easy with your warm soapy, cloth or paper towel. You can clean the upper burner inside the unit. Marinate a chicken breast overnight and some rub and a bit of olive oil. Put it on the counter countertop to just get to above room temperature. Then cook in this air fryer, absolute restaurant grade chicken breast every time. Fantastic for sweet potatoes and large, chopped onions, carrots, etc.. I really do love this kitchen appliances. Highly recommend.
