These are perfect for taking watercolor off when you’ve made a mistake.

I have resisted buying a scrubber for some time but am now so glad I bought these. The effects you can get are terrific, obviously changing according to the type of watercolor paper, but really impressive!

At first I wasn't impressed just looking. For years I've been using my old worn down ceramic bristle brushes. They are gentle and work well until I need detailing. I do alot of lifting on portraits, children and animals. These brushes had some stray bristles I thought needed trimminf...and being nylon I had my doubts...however these are amazing at their job!!! Only use these with light touches and they'll be your best friend! Currently working on a child's denim jacket and the flats gently take away the right amount of wear on the seams with just a few touches! Gentleness is the key. I'd only use these on 100% cotton as they will dig a hole before you know it on paper not meant for being rough on. It appears they are damaging the paper as they pile the paper, but a good quality cotton is made to be worked on. Just wait till it's dry and do few swipes and you're ready to go. I'm currently working on Fabriano Artistic and have done extensive scrubbing thoughout the 11x14 piece and my paper has remained beautiful and receptive for more paint. Try these! But only if you work on quality paper. You can always return them if you're not satisfied. Enjoy being creative!
