DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Jobsite Fan, Tool Only (DCE512B)

I bought this fan for my sisters, and they’ve been very happy with it. It’s powerful, easy to move around, and really useful when they need some extra air. The cordless design makes it super convenient, and the battery lasts a good amount of time. They’ve gotten a lot of use out of it. Definitely a great purchase!

My wife wanted this to take with her to our son's soccer and football games. I'm a maintenance mechanic, so I already have Dewalt tools and a 5ah battery. This fan is worth every penny. The fan speed is adjustable from a slight breeze to a strong wind. We've ran it on high for close to four hours with battery to spare. It also has two built-in hooks you can use to hang it from something if you need it elevated. Being a Dewalt product, you don't need to worry about being gentle with it. It will take a beating and keep working. If you're outside and need a dependable fan that won't quit, you need to buy this fan.

This DEWALT 20V MAX portable fan has been a great purchase for us. We’ve used it at the beach, camping, and around the house, and it’s always performed really well.It does have a bit of bulk to it, but it’s absolutely worth it for the strong airflow it puts out. The wind speed is impressive for a cordless fan and makes a big difference, especially in hot weather. It was honestly a lifesaver for our baby at the beach and while camping, keeping things cooler and more comfortable. It also does a great job of keeping flies off while eating outdoors, which is a huge bonus.Overall, even though it’s a little on the bigger side, the performance more than makes up for it. Highly recommend for anyone spending time outdoors!

Best fan ever!! It really moves air. I’m not a construction worker but admit this is an industrial strength fan. It’s easy to move around with a comfortable handle. The fan pivots about 300°, being able to blow both in front or behind it by easily pressing on the fan & clicking to the desired position. My DeWalt batteries seem to last a long time with the fan, but I don’t usually have it on high. I got to try a friend’s before I bought mine. I would definitely recommend this fan.

Very quiet. Moved lots of air. Good adjustability. Very happy with this fan. 4 and 5 AH batteries last all day on high and sometimes up to 2 days.

Great fan - small, portable, good output, rugged build. Some point out this new model no longer has a cord plug-in option - but I don't care about that, I bought a cordless fan because I never want to use a cord, and I have plenty Dewalt batteries on hand - and this thing runs a long time on 4-5-6Ah batteries. If I could make a couple small tweaks I'd add a bit more resistance to the head-tilting and speed knob. But those are small gripes and I'd happily buy this fan again as-is.

Bought for my husband as a gift. He takes this thing everywhere. Puts out a great amount of air. Very durable and battery lasts for hours. Nice and quiet. Perfect size.

I could have gone with another fan that is compatible with Dewalt batteries for a third of the cost but I went with the Dewalt fan because of the reputation and quality. I am not so happy with the tilting feature, it moves with very little resistance, almost like it’s loose but there is no way to tighten it up. For that reason I can’t give it 5 stars

I'm currently updating my power tools to be as completely cordless as possible. I felt the technology of cordless tools would reach a balance of price vs power/dependability at such time I would pull the trigger. I was gifted a Dewalt DC759 drill many years ago. It has never let me down but the old NiCad batteries leave alot to be desired. The DCE512B is my first Dewalt cordless tool purchase and it's awesome. I'm running a 1.7 Ah Powerstack and it just sips the charge. Granted, I just got it but I have yet to drain the battery. It's powerful for it's size and is as quiet as you can expect any fan to be.I compared the DCE512B to Milwaukee's 0886-20 cordless fan and don't understand why Milwaukee only offers a three speed setting when Dewalt has variable speed settings. You may not think this is important but dialing fan speed to it's usage is a key factor for me. This one feature makes Dewalt a superior fan from Milwaukee's. I just wish Dewalt kept the corded plug-in on the newer model but it's not a deal breaker as it is a 'cordless' fan.

No me a combencido.
