Papa Vince Low Acid Tomato Sauce, No Garlic No Onion, Made in Italy 4 Pack

I have been able to enjoy spaghetti again. I am so happy I found this. Cost wise I don’t think it is bad at all. You get 4 bottles and I split up a bottle into servings as soon as I open it. Someone else suggested they freeze theirs using ice cube trays. I took that idea and use large ice cubes, like the kind for special drinks, and a whole serving fits in one. After it is frozen I put them in food saver bags and seal them up. It is easy to take one out whenever I need one. I will be ordering again!

Great taste, easy on my 82 year old stomach. Pasta one of my long time favorite meals. The other is a good steak. Growing up in family of ten kids pasta was one the easiest and cheapest meals making it a frequent dinner. This product lets me indulge my old habits without pain.

You certainly can appreciate all the high quality ingredients used in this fabulous sauce when served over Papa Vince’s ancient grain pasta. I add sautéed garlic, sweet onions, and organic zucchini, and mushrooms to make this sauce even more delicious! I also love that it is made in small batches! I also love how very carefully packaged this Papa Vince arrived!

I made your recipe for the Bolognese Today with meat and onions. I had to add a little Marsala ....only because I like it in my sauce....it was so fresh tasting and I live next door to my Mama and Papa (I do all the cooking for both families as they are elderly and that’s just what we do as a family- labor of love) everyone loved it! I grated a little bit of fresh parmesan cheese on top and it really didn’t need it at all. Also added fresh basil and oregano from my herb garden. It was just so lovely and smooth...no acidity that was noticeable which was perfect as sometimes that bothers my Papa....but not tonight....I can’t imagine what you could do to improve upon it....indeed, it lived up to your description of it. I am anxious to try the ancient grain pastas. I have also order the balsamic vinegar and olive oil and am looking forward to its arrival. Is the lemon and orange marmalade very tart? Thank you for everything...the packaging was super and it made it to Hawaii with no problems at all! Christmas came early in your box of sauces.

I did like Papa Vince Pasta Tomato Sauce, however, the bottles were so small and the price was so high. I did not pay enough attention to the size of the bottles. Unfortunately, it is outside of my budget.

Last night was the night. Rosie made the Papa Vince Tomato Sauce. She gave it a little taste while cooking it and said " oh its good" I went out to the pool to get my drink and when I came back in she had finished cooking it and and informed me " ITS DELICIOUS ! " I sat down for dinner with a glass of grape juice (out of wine) and freshly baked bread and had my first taste. Oh My Fantastic, then we both tried to describe the taste. So smooth, sweet but not too sweet, fresh like an Italian Chef had just made it from his own backyard, soooo very tastey FANTASTICO ! We are now spoiled no more jars from super markets not even close to this. Rosie added garlic, a bit of diced onion sautéed in Papa Vince's olive oil, fresh basil a little salt and pepper,that's all then ladled it over fusilli pasta first time I ever took a piece of and wiped the sauce from the cooking pot , wouldn't waste a drop of that red gold. mmm mmm mmm !
