The process of putting this together was pretty straight forward and easy. I haven’t had any worries of overheating and the plastic is fairly sturdy. Overall I’d recommend this to anyone before looking at a third party dock that could potentially brick your system.

The dock mod, does the job, but the instructions that come with the product are so bad... I would recommend to look for a video on how to do the dock swap.The quality of the product is good, but if you are gonna spent about $13, I would recommend to spend the extra $6 and get an eXtreme rate switch dock mod. They have better instructions, bit better quality and different colors to choose and support.

This is a great little case swap kit. Very compact, good thermal performance, etc.- just as advertised. However, the instructions it comes with can be a bit confusing, especially for the original dock disassembly. Look up "nintendo switch dock swap aolion" ("Aolion" was just another name/brand for this same type of dock) in your favorite search engine and watch a video. I went with the one by YouTube user "sjm4306"; it covers how to disassemble the Switch dock and place the PCB in your new one.

The whole process was like a puzzle but reading through the instructions and pictures it was easier than I thought to replace my old switch dock with this one. It'll give my switch dock some more life and instead of wasting a perfectly good board and save money.

This is a great shell to place the official Nintendo switch dock internals into, in order to reduce the size of the dock.
