It feels fresh and really dry but the toning 'claims' is not there.

Strongest deodorant
I’ve used Dove products for years, and this one didn’t disappoint. It provides long-lasting protection while keeping my underarms soft and irritation-free. The scent is clean and fresh without being overwhelming. It works well even on busy days.

Great product
I love this product. I previously used the scent called "calming breeze". I like the subtle scents that do NOT become more prevalent with your body heat. Calming Breeze was perfect. Then it became more and more difficult to find. Amazon doesn't even carry Calming Breeze anymore!! I replaced it with "apple blossom & mango butter" which is a subtle scent. Now this scent is becoming harder and harder to find. WHY DOES DOVE KEEP CHANGING THEIR SUBLTLE SCENTS? Anyway, time to focus. This deodorant has a subtle scent, does not stain your clothing, is not sticky or wet feeling post application. It is a creamy texture, not a gel texture. It dries quickly and will not stick to your clothes. It is a deodorant and antiperspirant that does work. It also lightens your underarms with consistent use, hence the name "even tone". Application is smooth.
