This thing is a lifesaver to reduce pain and inflammation from a “trapped” tendon. I can still type, drive and do most activities while using this brace and no longer awaken to excruciating pain upon first moving my thumb. The only things I cannot do while wearing the brace are shower, wash hands and wash dishes. The best part: price is fair and it comes in a size small enough to fit my teeny hand. After several weeks the Velcro still works well. It can be adjusted for tightness at both the thumb and wrist. It washed well - I used a lingerie bag and air dried. It doesn’t look worn at all but the nature of the fabric grabs fibers from bedding, clothing etc. There are two versions: I bought the less stiff one. It allows for some range of motion of the thumb but not enough cause pain. HIGHLY recommend this product.

I was diagnosed with De Quervains & my doctor recommended this brace to stabilize the thumb. I've been wearing it for 2 weeks and have felt a lot of improvement. My wrist pain was gone in 2 days but I followed doctors orders because its eady to retriever symptoms if you keep using your thumb! I got the large because I habe chubby hands and wrists. It fits well but it does slide if I dont tighten it too much. But you must be careful not to tighten it too much on the wrist. I did this and irritated the nerves that trigger carpal tunnel issues. Thankfully I corrected and it improved. I can still type with this brace just without using it thumb. The brace is comfortable enough. The material does attract hair and fuzz and does have some pilling after 2 weeks and one machine wash with hang dry. Lint rolling helps. Glad I got it. Worth the purchase.

I was skeptical that something so streamlined and small would work but it does !!! I still wear my full on brace for heavy yardwork but this is perfect for grocery shopping, taking dogs on a walk or light chores. Plus your hand and it doesn’t get soaked with sweat. AWESOME !!

Good strong thumb brace, but the velcro around the thumb doesn't hold after about a month.

I tried a lot of thumb braces for arthritis, and this one is my favorite. It's very supportive, and stops my thumb moving in hurtful ways. It comes in different sizes to fit different hands; the size small doesn't come up over the top of my thumb or cover the rest of my hand like the others. It looks nice, feels light, is easy to put on and take off, and easy to clean. Highly recommended!

I generally don’t leave feedback but I felt compelled to review this. I have ordered this previously. The first one I purchased is still functioning perfect but I wanted another brand of thumb brace. BAD DECISION….There wasn’t anything wrong with it but compared to this one absolutely horrible. I only need a thumb brace not a wrist brace. All others I’ve tried and seen cover the whole wrist together with 2 inches. For me that’s to constricting. This one has a stiff insert that goes from the top of your wrist to the thumb so while I sleep it’s comfortable and non restrictive while immobilizing my thumb everywhere except at tips. The tips of the thumb is not waist hurts with the arthritis it’s the side bone from the wrist to the joint. You can adjust the strap on top of the thumb to your preference I prefer range of motion on my thumb tips and this brace works perfect. The package says it’s designed in Sweden. SOOO. If your looking for the perfect brace for arthritis of the thumb joint. LOOK NO MORE. Did I mention that the wrist strap is thin and only wraps around the very top of the wrist. THIS BRACE ROCKS…
