Mellbree Charger Compatible with Gameboy Adcance SP 1.2M, USB Charging Cable Lead for Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP (GBA SP), Nintendo DS Original Console (NDS)

Thankful for discovering this after losing my old gameboy charger. It just makes things so much easier with a USB involved rather than carrying around that brick of a charger. Very functional, good value for money and durable seemingly so far! Can't 100% comment on much faster charging but It's probably a little faster than the original.

It does what it says on the tin. Affordable replacement for the official Nintendo chargers. Works with my SP + DS, as others stated there is a slight restiance to the cable fitting the port, just be slow and gentle when placing and it'll be fine.

Revived my slumbering GBA SP. Is a charging cable. Plug fits in quite tightly but I assume that will work a little looser with more use. Better too tight than too loose.

Bought to charge my old Game Boy Advance SP. Does the job and the cable seems to be good quality.

Fits a little too snugly into my Gameboy Advance SP and take a bit more force to remove it from the charging port but charges well.

It works just fine

The connection of this charging cable to the Nintendo DS Original or Game Boy Advance is way too tight. You can make it fit by forcing it, but this cable costs practically nothing and the tightness of the connection risks damaging an expensive retro console. To make this clearer, all Mellbree had to do was make a cable that, on one end, fits into a USB power source, and on the other end, fit into your Nintendo. That's it. There's no clever electronics inside this cable because a USB plug kicks out 5V @ 2A and your Nintendo needs 5.2V @ 320 mA. It's more or less one-to-one. They had one job and messed it up.

It works, but SOMEHOW the USB A and the GBA/DS original charger is SLIGHTLY too big to fit naturally, you kind of have to force or wiggle it in. On both sides. There’s no possible damage from the courier so it must just be made faulty. Now, I’ve only used it a bit but it works, but I would be careful, I would be willing to bet it wouldn’t last long, and it just does not feel as natural as my natural normal charger which plugs in easily. You actually need to put force on this one. So, take that as you will. Pretty cheap though but you get what you pay for

Lo compré pensando que sería mejor que un cargador completo y así poder usar cualquier adaptador. Fue un acierto. Es totalmente compatible con cualquier adaptador, y económico. Recomendado

Wollte mien Nintendo D2 verkaufen. Ohne Ladekabel 20 Euro. mit dem Ladekabel habe ich 65 bekommen. Hat sich definitiv gelohnt!
