I got this item today, and I was excited to put it on after work today. The instructions aren't very good as it seems to be a poor translation of German to English. If you want to see how to install this fender, watch YouTube videos instead. I tried for nearly 2 hours attempting to get the fender to fit my bike, a Jeep Rubicon AWD mountain bike. Nothing to seems to work out. I got a flash of inspiration and put the fender backwards and it was a perfect fit! it looks a little strange, but most people won't notice. I used wide and thick wire ties to fasten everything down. The installation is solid and works just fine. These SKS products are very well made and look great. I would buy from them again.

Don't freak out about the fit based on looks to forks. Once you look over the directions visually (language is in German sorry) it will start to make sense. After it's mounted to the upper the side mounting makes much more sense and looks good as well. I decided to use the zip ties to mount for a cleaner look and it feels like it will be more secure. May want to use higher quality later depending on the riders abilities so it doesn't break free for the more advanced rider but I believe it is a quality mud guard. My wife's bike looks nice with it as well.

Expensive for a piece of injection molded plastic, but I love the look and how well it works. Would buy again. Much better than the Shockblade I have on 2 other bikes.

I'm using this with a DVO Diamond D1 fork. The included adapter is does not have the bolt pattern for the DVO fork. But the middle bolt hole still works. The two on the side are too far apart. So the Straps on the side with the single bolt on top provide enough overall security. Running this with 27x3 nobby nics tires. No clearance issues. Rubber pad and rubber center strip means no additional noise from plastic rubbing.

Phenomenal fit on my gravel bike... 6 rides on rail trail in rains last week - loved not being soaked! Now going to install one on the rear... Excellent kit for installation - and easy instructions... the protective tape for the fork where the straps go is a very nice detail. The stripes have rubber backing - stayed right in place! Well done!

Works as it should

The great thing about this fender is that it mounts securely, but you can remove it anytime you'd like. That being said, I've yet to find a situation where I feel the need to remove it. It hasn't gotten hung-up on any trees or branches while doing downhill as of yet. It gets pushed around sometimes, but snaps right back into position. Great fender!

Great fit. I haven't used in the rain yet but should keep the spray of the front wheel going into my eyes. This is the best front fender for mtb's. Another quality product from SKS. Durability is top notch.

Das Schutzblech kommt komplett mit diversen Schrauben/Set zur Befestigung an verschiedensten Gabelbrücken, 3 guten Klettbändern mit Gummirücken gegen verrutschen, 4 Kabelbindern, Torx-Werkzeug, Gabel-Schutzfolien und Moosgummi-Pads, dazu eine bebilderte Einbauanleitung in Deutsch und Englisch (für den der sie braucht) -> Vorbildlich! Es passt wenn die richtige Position für den mittigen Halter gefunden ist sehr gut an (m)eine Fox Float 34/29", die Schrauben hierfür liegen bei, brauchen allerdings einen 2mm Innensechskantschlüssel (der nicht mitgeliefert wurde - aber kein Problem). Das Schutzblech ist korrekt montiert erstaunlich stabil, vibriert kaum und macht keine Geräusche. Es ist ausreichend breit für 2.6"/65mm dicke Reifen und schützt auch die Gabelstandrohre gut vor Verschmutzung. Optisch finde ich es durch den passenden Radius, mit den glänzenden Highlights und den Flares/Verbreiterungen an den Enden vorn und hinten super, es wirkt schön integriert und nicht irgendwie nachträglich drangeworfen, dezent und gut. Sehr zufrieden mit meinem Kauf, TOP Produkt - Made in Germany!

Way over priced for only Front Mydgaurd. Title said front and rear mudguards, wasn’t. Read carefully. I opted out of returning it ,because it took forever to receive it, and needed it now. 5 stars for product, 0 stars for seller

Listing clearly says and shows front and real wheel. The box just contains the front wheel.

Montato su ruota 29' x 2.6. Ottimo prodotto con adattatore per varie forcelle. Sualla mia Fox è perfetto. Montaggio da fare con un pò di tempo a disposizione per ottenere un buon risultato. Istruzioni non in italiano. Dipende dal tipo di forcella, ma per la mia non c'era la chiave delle piccole viti di fissaggio, mentre viene fornita per le altre. Comunque anche esteticamente mi piace molto.
