Bar and Sole Rasp-1 'Original'

I bought this on the advice of my barefoot horseshoe for easy use at first I wasn’t sure I liked it because it didn’t really wanna file but it just needed to break in now. It works wonderfully it fits perfectly in my hand. It’s easy use. I have a bad shoulder so I need all the help I can get when it comes to doing my horses feet because they’re draft horses. I would highly recommend this For natural trimming

Used for the first time and it worked really well! I have bad arthritis in my wrists and fingers and have trouble handling a hoof knife(i can its just unbearably slow), this is a game changer for me, it did take a bit to figure out the right motion to get the best rasp but once figured out it was perfect! Does not take much pressure for the rasp to catch at all. Very good product, glad I bought it.

I like it, but there is a learning curve to using it which I have yet to master.

This is the most amazing rasp . I was a little hesitant at first to spend the money but I’m sure glad I did . This solves a big problem I had with getting sole and frog off. I’m not a farrier but my mustang only allows me to touch his feet and I’m horrible with a hoof knife. This safely removes the sole and dead frog with little effort. You really should wear gloves when using it as I’ve cut myself a few times now

This will rust very fast regardless of it being in moisture. It works just ok.

Great idea and excellent quality. Plus, it seems this is a small business. I will be purchasing the other products as they become available. Wish these products were offered on Amazon Prime.

I cannot get it to rasp anything, much less the bars...

I live in southern Nevada (aka my horses hooves are like concrete) and killed an electric hoof boss in two years of trimming. Luckily I have this as a back up to remove old sole and level my bars, I forgot how well it removes old sole!! Buying 3 more, one per horse.
