Necessity
I recently purchased the Streamlight 69270 TLR-6 for my Glock 43X, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. As someone who takes personal defense seriously, having a reliable light/laser combo on my firearm is essential. The TLR-6 not only met but exceeded my expectations. The installation process was a breeze; it fits snugly onto the pistol without adding any bulk or interfering with its sleek profile. The 100-lumen light output is more than sufficient for illuminating dark areas, whether indoors or outdoors. Plus, the integrated red aiming laser provides an added layer of precision to my shooting. In terms of performance, I've put this light/laser through its paces at the range, and it has held up flawlessly. The controls are intuitive and easy to manipulate, even under stress. I appreciate the ambidextrous operation, allowing both left and right-handed shooters to activate the light/laser without any issues. Durability-wise, Streamlight has once again proven why they're a trusted name in the industry. The TLR-6 feels solidly built and has survived numerous drops and bumps without skipping a beat. Additionally, the waterproof construction gives me peace of mind, knowing that it can handle whatever conditions I encounter. Overall, I highly recommend the Streamlight 69270 TLR-6 to any Glock 42/43/43X/48 owner looking to enhance their firearm's capabilities. It's a game-changer for low-light shooting situations and provides added confidence in my ability to defend myself and my loved ones.

Great, but only from the right seller
This light is great, but before you read on, or order one, I have a small disclaimer. If or when you order this light, do not buy it from the seller "my goods". It took them over a month to ship this light to me. If I would have known this going into it, I would have driven to the nearest gun shop or sporting goods store, and just paid a few bucks extra to have it the same day. This is definitely a first world problem, but in this day and age, fast shipping is the rule, and not the exception. When I got my first delivery estimate from "my goods" it was about 2 weeks out. I understand that two weeks is not a long time, but being a Prime member, I could have selected another seller and had it much sooner. And if not in stock with a prime seller, it would have been available locally with a short drive and a few extra dollars. I immediately contacted the seller to see if they could give me a tracking number, or if not, I would have liked to cancel the order. Their response was something to the effect of, "we ship as soon as possible when we get orders." That was not exactly the answer to my question, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, and wait the two weeks. Over 1 month later, my light finally arrived. When I did get the light finally, I installed it on my glock 43 and was very impressed with the fit. As other buyers have indicated, it's as if Glock designed the light, and Streamlight manufactured it. Also, to piggyback and Echo what other buyers have said: this light is not for a "battle" firearm, so it is not the top-of-the-line "battle" light. But it is more than enough at 100 lumens to allow you to see your target. I have only adjusted the laser to sit properly in the sight picture at a range of twenty feet using my hallway. If there are any issues with it holding zero after I shoot it for a few hundred rounds, I will update this review with those issues. The windage and elevation screws take a notable amount of force to turn, so I imagine they will hold up to the recoil of my 9mm G43 just fine. Great light/laser, great price!

Simple to set up and use
Set this up easily. The light isn't the brightest but it works well, and in the dark gets the job done. Activating the laser and light is also very easy to do while holding the gun. The laser is very easy to zero in and bright enough to see in the day. Very satisfied with this purchase and have recommended it to others as well.

Great for what it is.
Great addition to my GLOCK 42. It really is the perfect size. Product fit my G42 perfectly. Package indicated "assembled in U.S. with U.S. and foreign parts." Light provides 100 lumens. Relative to other streamlight offerings it's not much, but 100 lumens in a dark environment is plenty. Beam field is pretty focused to make use of those few lumens. I probably wouldn't count on the laser being usable outside during the day (haven't tested yet) as red is notoriously hard to see outside in daylight. However, the laser seems adequate at max distance inside my house with the lights on. Overall, I'd say it's great for what it is, but it's a compromise product. It has to be small enough to fit and you're just not going to get TLR-7 performance. It's a great backup in case something goes bump in the night and you forget to grab your flashlight when you're reaching for stuff in a hurry. This is my third streamlight weapon light. I wish it was 100% U.S. made, but I've been happy with these. It's always been worth spending a few extra bucks to get a reliable high quality product.

Worth Getting
This laser/light works intuitively. Touch the button briefly for a constant on or hold it down and it will stay on as long as you're holding the button. The weight isn't enough to notice. This is my first light with a laser built in, I thought the laser would just be a waste of batteries. Turns out it makes a big difference in aiming at night as a light will wash out your sights when you first activate it. (Yes, even night sights). I ordered a kydex iwb holster from Overwatch Holsters to fit my Glock 42 and this light. It seems that kydex Holsters for made to work with the tlr-6 don't use the trigger guard for retention but instead use the widening surface of the light where it comes off the bottom of the trigger guard. The result is less of a snappy feel when drawing. You really have to tug it out of there. Not a huge deal at all but worth mentioning. The light is plenty bright for identifying targets out to fourty feet -ish-. You can't see the laser enough for it to be useful during the day but you can see it further than 200 yds in the pitch black. My only ding against the tlr-6 is that while they last long enough (1hr burn time) the 1/3N batteries aren't readily availabl. My local Wal Mart doesn't carry them. You'll probably have to order your replacements online after you use them up playing with your cool new light.

A bit pricey, but essential [Edited review]
I first wrote a review on this light after just receiving it. I've had it for a few weeks now and to add to my previous comments I now find this light essential. There are two elements that I didn't mention that I find to be game changers... Before installing the light I was struggling to hang onto my G43x. The recoil was quite snappy as one would expect. Hanging this light on the front tamed the recoil signifcantly and is much more like a larger sized model. Even more importantly, I was frustrated with my accuracy, the POI always being low and left. I thought I was jerking the trigger which is the general diagnosis. That wasn't the case. It seems it was a comination of me reading the sights wrong and the rear sight being a hair too far left and the front sight too tall [Truglo TFX Pros]. The laser on the TLR-6, after zeroing as spot on for POA/POI and helped me diagnosed what my accuracy issue is. Before I lacked confidence because I missed so much. Now I can count of either the iron sights or the laser for aiming. But that's not all... The button to turn the laser/light on is so conveniently placed that I have learned to turn it on as I draw. It seems that one would not need a red dot with the laser and you can be on point without even raising the sights to eye level. All in all I'm super impressed. I can't see having my G43x without this light. Original review: At first I was worried about the 100 lumen rating. Lumens are really difficult to judge actual brightness and when one sees other lights with 600 lumen we wonder if this light will be insufficient. If you need a light outdoors that will light up a target at 150 feet buy the stronger light. But for inside a house it is plenty bright. It takes about 4 minutes to install once you know what you are doing. However if you install it, align the laser and remove it you have to re-align the laser again. I mention this only because none of my holsters will work with the light. So I either have to remove the light to carry or buy new holsters. I do wish it was quicker and a bit easier to install and uninstall. The process is simple with three hex head screws, but if a quick release clamp could be incorporated (like the Holosun red dot on my AR) it would be idea. The switch system is pretty nifty but I haven't yet found my index finger or thumb going to the switch upon draw. I would like it to be a little closer to the trigger guard, but it's good enough. The thing weighs 1.3 ounces. I haven't shot it yet (tomorrow) so I don't know if it will help muzzle flip and felt recoil with my 43x. The laser version was over $90 with tax, so a bit pricey for a cheap plastic flash light with laser. But the fact that it can be integrated into the frame of the G43x, 48 and I think 43 is something that might be a necessity for home self defense. I'm going to try to test it tomorrow at the range to see if I can find consistent POA/POI and possibly use that to help better zero my iron sights. If something changes I'll edit this review.

Nice
Great light fits perfectly

Perfect for the Glock 43x
Not only is the TLR-6 a perfect fit for the Glock 43x in a world where there wasn't, a very pleasant and major side benefit is the that the minimal weight of the light tames the recoil of the weapon. I've put some rounds through the 43x since getting it and was frustrated that I continually was shooting left and low left despite putting in a lot of range time to master the snappy little weapon. Just got back from the range and the addition of the TLR-6 made recoil very manageable and turned frustration into satisfaction. That alone made the light and laser, which works fine by the way, well worth the investment. Wish I had known earlier.

3 luci: laser rosso solo, luce bianca sola o insieme punto rosso e luce. Sono molto soddisfatto.
