Great scooter for kids who are getting too big for the smaller model!
My daughter absolutely loves this scooter. Big upgrade from the smaller one. She flies on this thing! I skateboard with her and am pretty good and I can't keep up if I tried. She has to slow down just to let me hang with! Quality seems top notch, it was easy to assemble and the scooter seems strong. I'm sure it will last a long time. The bigger wheels also make it smoother over bumpy services which is really nice compared to the smaller version. I like this design much better and it should fit her as she gets older since the older one was too small for her. Price also seemed really reasonable compared to other options! Really happy with this one!

Smooth Ride and Durable – Perfect Scooter for Kids!
The Razor A5 Lux Kick Scooter is fantastic! The 8” urethane wheels provide a smooth, stable ride on different surfaces, making it great for both beginners and more experienced riders. The anodized finish with bold colors and graphics looks super cool and holds up well against scratches. It’s sturdy enough to support riders up to 220 lbs, so it’s perfect for kids 8 and up—and even teens can enjoy it. The adjustable handlebars make it easy to customize for a comfortable ride, and the foldable design makes it convenient to carry and store. Overall, this scooter offers great value, quality, and style. Highly recommend for active kids who love to scoot around!

great scooter
Great scooter for a bigger kid! She is 12 but still wants to scooter with sibling and this is the perfect option. Rides smooth, looks great and required no assembly! We like the kick stand too.

Great scooter for college campus !! Great value too !!
I was looking for a lightweight scooter that my son to use around his college campus. Look at all the reviews of some of other brands like the Xootr, Exooter, Oxelo, etc.. But they were either too expensive (over $200) or too heavy (over 10 lbs). The A5 is less than 9 lbs and only $80. I initially looked at the Razor A6 since I liked the slightly bigger wheels. But then I noticed a folding design flaw that some readers reported that it has caused their handles to fold when riding (this happens if you don't tighten the folding screw hard enough). So with safety in mind, I chose the A5. It has a better fold/lock mechanism, cheaper than all of those mentioned before, and build with high quality. When you take it out of the box, you can tell that it is very sturdy and high quality. I feel very comfortable that my son can ride it, throws it around campus and it will still survive the everyday rigors. The locking mechanism is not 100% solid (has a little give) so it rattles a little when you move the handle. But when you put some weight on it, it is solid to ride on. I have been riding around the neighborhood the last week and it is very smooth and glide along the pavements just fine. I changed out the bearings with the Bones REDS Bearing and they made it even smoother. Definitely a good scooter and an even greater value at $80. Can't beat it !!

Seems pretty good, but rattles a lot
This is our first two wheeled scooter. Our kids have had the three wheeled style for a while now, and we got this one as the next step. The design is very nice. Great color, good graphics, looks fantastic. The welds seem great, and the opening and closing lever really is quite easy to use when opening and closing. It came usable right out of the box and our son likes the handlebars a lot. So why only 4 stars instead of 5? Simply put it is LOUD when riding. The thing vibrates while my son is riding, and sounds like metal clanking on metal the entire time. It doesn’t seem to bother him while he is riding but it bothers me. It sounds cheap and not sturdy. The scooter looks very sturdy, but this makes me question its sturdiness and I wish it didn’t. If it wasn’t so loud, I wouldn’t, so that is my one big disappointment with this purchase. Would I recommend this? I’m torn here because at 90 dollars or so I feel it is a great deal. On the other hand though, the metal rattling on metal sound is a big ugh. I’d say yes, but to make sure that you are aware of this issue, and unless things change - if the sound turns out to be a problem in the future, then of course I’ll change my recommendation to a no and will update this review.

Very nice pink. However, the handle still wobbles a little despite tightening the Allen key.

My son loves this scooter. It's one of the best ones he's had so far. It rides really smooth and is easy to brake. He is 56" tall and weighs about 73lbs - he's 10 years old. The handles easily adjust for his height for comfort. We like the kickstand and that is folds for more compact storage. I'm 5'-7" and I ride it sometimes too!
