I can remember reading the book back in the late 80’s in school, the whole class has to read it, Then our teacher surprised us by bringing in the movie for us to watch in school. Back in those days it was on vhs, It was brilliant to watch. Such a great movie. But as the years rolled on, it was still great to watch, Can remember owning this on BluRay and yes it was made better to watch on that format. But here we are in 2021 and they decided to release the 4k Restoration of the movie. Wow the movie has never looked better. Was expecting it to be high grained but I was surprised to see it was nice fine grain to the movie. Was very happy with The Complete Novel version, the boxset is brilliant, Comes with Complete Novel and Theatrical versions on 4k, you also get both on BluRay too, along with the soundtrack to the movie. There is a nice booklet, 2 posters, postcards and a badge you get in this box set. Would definitely recommend this to anyone, definitely worth it. Especially if you are a lover of this movie!!

Not sure what the heck is going on with this but the longer version on disc one has had music unnecessarily added to it over pretty much all scenes which makes it really hard to hear the dialogue and does not match the mood of the film AT ALL!!! disc one is good for the bin only. Watch disc two if you’ve never seen this film before otherwise it will ruin experience of such a great film.

Contrairement à ce qui figure dans la description AMAZON, il n'y a pas de sous-titres français sur cette édition "complete novel", deux disques BD. J'étais heureux d'enfin trouver la version cinéma (courte) de cette pépite de Coppola, mais c'est raté. Pour info, la version "director's" est gâchée par des ajouts de musiques des '60, au détriment de la musique originale de Carmine Coppola qui a disparu. Autrefois AMAZON publiait une photo de l'arrière des jaquettes, ce qui permettait de vérifier deux fois avant achat.

Very good as an Outsiders fan. Iconic cast including Tom Cruise, Matt Dillon and even more!

Made me very happy because I had an obsession with the outsiders and it came with a lot of goodies and pamphlets that I read over a thousand times. Very good. Just know that you need something that handles ultra blu ray, took me awhile to actually be able to watch it because everything that I had didn’t support it because it wasn’t’ the region.
