Masthome Mandoline Vegetable Slicer, 10-in-1 Multi-Function Stainless Steel

The item didn't meet my expectations. The blade roll element doesn't seem to be sturdy enough, moves while I'm cutting the veggies. The blade itself isn't sharp enough to deal with carrot. It partially juliennes the carrot, partially breaks into irregular pieces. The mandoline couldn't deal with kohlrabi as well. You need to use much of force to slice or julienne hard vegetables as carrot, parsnip, kohlrabi, which can easily end up injuring yourself. I used the safety gloves but I still felt stressed to use the mandoline anyway. The holder doesn't help much too. Also, the mandoline slides on the countertop, I needed to use an additional silicone mat to keep it in place. I'm very disappointed. The only positive about the product is that you can slice onion or bell pepper quicker as they're soft vegetables and you don't need to use as much force as when cutting swede, carrot and other hard root vegetables. Haven't used it for shredding cabbage though, but hopefully it will deal with it at some point.Cleaning the mandoline isn't a difficult thing, you can easily remove the blade roll.

Works, but it's not easy to use as described. Used two times and gave up.

I've been 'trying' to sue this for months now and the poor construction and clunky design makes it unwieldly and, at times, actually dangerous. Good job they give you free knife-proof gloves (although their safety rating is questionable). You can find better made, more functional mandolins at a cheaper price for sure.I've binned it and gone back to my old cheaper mandolin

easy to use works well

On receiving this item there was safety gloves missing and it would only cut using the julienne setting and not normal slicing, I contacted amazon and they refunded my money also they said I didn’t have to return the item

Corta como ninguna ,material fuerte! Las distintas formas y medidas que tiene para cortar, y encima con los guantes de protección que son muy bueno , lo recomiendo con sinceridad

I only got this to use for sort of a one time use case where we volunteered to cut up a lot of tomatoes for a school event and it worked so great for that. I'd never even used one of these mandoline type cutters before so I really didn't know what to expect. This guy cuts tomatoes at the perfect thickness and about as fast as you can get it done. Make sure and wear the gloves though because it's no joke. We sliced about 50 tomatoes in what seems like 10 minutes with it, I can't imagine doing that with a knife.
