Tools 05073593001 950 SPKL/9 SM N SB Long ARM HEX Key Set, One Size, Multi

So I watch lots of youtube - in the DIY space. I purchased this on a whim due to a product line up review and found this checked all my boxes of what I need today and in the future. I have a set of hex keys ... but like many lazy people out there .. find myself misplacing many of the sizes in the set. Enter this.. why not have a 2nd set? The tools are solid - I've put together 2 new bikes, mounted a bunch of other hardware items (airsoft, networking items, curtain hardware since... The colored handles are a godsend! I can easily find where the tool is and IF i'm not lazy put it back so I can find it again =) All in all great purchase and matches the accolades other youtbers have stated about this set. One of the few on the whim buys I've made with zero buyers remorse! =)

I have been working on a project with a lot of mixed metal Allen screws mostly comprised of softer non-metallic stainless and harder magnetic (of course) black steel Allen screws and both types get plenty of torque and the “hard to get to angle” Allens which often require a plier on the tool to break the bond. I have yet to see a damaged tool or fastener. Talking about both of these I have not noticed any cosmetic coating, black phosphate coating, newly added knicks, burrs or stripping of either tool or fastener. Before hand on a similar build days before I was rounding out tools and messing up fasteners that I almost wanted to give up. Spend the money. Invest in Wera. You won’t be mad at your decision. The feeling with these tools brings me back to the days when all holes had a tight fit that gets looser over time. Now it is like being a new stud again! It goes in with just enough push to let you know it’s the correct fit and then you readjust a little to the left or right (this is dependent on what your goal is) and without losing a step, your done and very nicely at that with no scratches or damage to the surface! A perfect fit made by the six points maintaining a hard and rigid/firm gripping edge while In between the two hard edges the tool has a light negative curve inward which surprised me and at the same time allowed for a more forgiving fit! Think about it this way; instead of being flat on the sides of the tools tip, the sides bow inward which can aid for dirt, oils or even vacuum pressure from a tight fit to get by because there is a small negative space for this as an allowance. Pretty brilliant IMO and so far, every Allen edge is still factory sharp with no damage. I almost forgot some good things. I love the color coded slightly grippy and easy to read tool sleeves! The case is awesome! Best one yet and it’s actually flexible so no fear of breaking it! The 10mm is a BEAST to hold and use. I love tightening with ALL of these tools as they have NEVER slipped and I have retained 100% of my hand and foreskin... I meant forearm skin 🥳. Use tools for what the were intended for by the factory please otherwise you may void your warranty! This is the nicest wrench set I’ve ever owned. It contains the precise sizes I need for working on bicycles, and I’ve really come to appreciate the color-coded design. Sturdy construction, and there’s even an included plastic set binder that works flawlessly. Good stuff!

I work on cars and RC boats, so hex keys come up a lot. Also Amazon furniture often requires assembly with a provided hex key, which will undoubtedly spin in the fastener before a satisfying amount of torque is applied. You know, the type where you crank it down and in your head "that's not going anywhere." These Wera keys will grip even the cheapest of screws and get you back to that happy place. Plus the ball-end removes much of the frustration when working in tight places designed for the hands of the children that assemble that furniture for stores. The smaller the hex key, the more these shine. Even bolts previously stripped by included budget hex keys can be cranked with these Wera keys. On my RC boat, I stripped a set screw that locks the motor to the driveshaft, and started squishing the set screw on the rear prop. That rear prop eventually came off in the water leaving the boat stranded. I replaced those parts then the motor started slipping on the shaft. Once these Wera hex keys arrived, I gave them a try on the boat. That set screw that would spin with the ordinary looking (not visibly stripped) provided Traxxas hex key, suddenly was able to take some confident cranking force. Never again will anything but a Wera hex key touch my boat. On standard hex keys, once stripped or gummed up, they can be ground down or cut to produce a fresh hex end with no rounding. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to apply that same trick with these round-shaft keys. Turns out, with good tools you don't need to touch up the ends. They interlock well with fasteners and there is little room to twist the points or round over. If you've tried other Wera tools and were pleased with them, go ahead and grab a set of these. If the high sticker price causes doubt, look at it as investing in never stripping a hex bolt or set screw again.

Ich hab die Wera Hex-Plus BlackLaser bei den Blitzangeboten für ca. 20 Euro gekauft. Auch das ist noch immer ein stolzer Preis für simple Inbusschlüsseln obwohl diese von Wera hier schon eine Klasse für sich sind! Und ich kann sagen der Kauf hat sich gelohnt und ich habe es nicht bereut! Lieferung: ========= Schon bei der Verpackung der Wera Sechskantschlüssel merkt man gleich dass man hier kein billiges Massenprodukt erhält sonder wirklich ein hochwertiges Werkzeug. Alleine hierfür müsste es schon 5 Sterne geben :) Das ganze Set ist in einem edlen schwarzen Karton verpackt worauf alle markanten Details der Schlüssel bildlich dargestellt sind. Auf der Rückseite sind noch alle darin entaltenen Größen und deren Länge angeführt. Man bekommt folgende 9 Größen geliefert: 1,5 x 90 - 2,0 x 101 - 2,5 x 112 - 3,0 x 123 - 4,0 x 137 - 5,0 x 154 - 6,0 x 172 - 8,0 x 195 - 10,0 x 224 mm Alle 9 Schlüsseln werden in einem flexiblen aber sehr stabilen aufklappbaren Halter geliefert. Verarbeitung: ============ Auch hierfür sollte man 5 Sterne vergeben! Man merkt sofort beim ersten Kontakt mit den Schlüsseln und auch mit dem Halter dass man hier ein hochwertiges Produkt in Händen hat. Beides weist eine sehr gute Haptik auf und durch die Kunstoffummantlung hat man damit ein sehr gutes Gefühl beim Arbeiten. Der Halter: Die Schlüsseln halten sehr gut im Kunstoffhalter und man muss schon etwas Kraft aufwenden damit die Schlüsseln rausgezogen werden können. Gleiches gilt beim Zurückstecken. Auch hier muss man etwas Kraft ausüben. Der grüne Verschlussriegel womit der Aufklappmechanismus vom Halter verriegelt wird ist eigentlich ganz simpel gemacht aber hält sehr gut! Die Sechskantschlüsseln: Diese sind nicht nur optisch eine Augenweide sondern auch das Arbeiten damit macht wirklich Spass! Jede Größe hat eine andersfarbige Kunstoffummantelung auf diesen auch die Größe aufgedruckt ist. Der Druck schaut eigentlich sehr gut aus und kann auf alle Fälle nicht einfach abgekratzt werden. Wie er sich auf die Dauer schlägt kann ich noch nicht sagen aber ich glaube dass man hier schon wirklich mit Werkzeug rangehen muss um die Beschriftung ab zu kratzen. Durch die spezielle Wera Hex-Plus Form werden die Schrauben etwas weniger belastet und man hat etwas mehr Sicherheit dass diese nicht so schnell und leicht abgenutzt (durchgedreht) werden. Arbeiten mit den Schlüsseln: ========================== Durch die Ummantelung hat man wirklich ein gutes Gefühl beim Schrauen, speziell bei den kleinen Größen wo man oft mit Gefühl festziehen muss. Einen Nachteil konnte ich durch die Ummantelung aber auch schon feststellen. Wenn man eine eingesetzte Schraube hat wo man zuerst durch eine Öffnung (Loch) mit dem Schlüssel muss und das Loch grade mal so groß wie der Schraubenkopf selbst, dann hat man hier ein Problem mit diesen Schlüsseln. Hatte bereits paar mal den Fall und musste dann auf einen "normalen" Inbusschlüssel zurückgreifen um diese Schrauben rauszudrehen. Also hat man öfters solche Art von Schrauben dann sollte man dies hier berrücksichtigen! Durch den Kugelkopf kann der Inbusschlüssel ca. 25-30 Grad gekippt werden und es kann trotzdem problemlos damit weitergeschraubt werden. Das ist zwar nichts besonderes, da das auch ein 3 Euro Inbusschlüsselset hat aber irgendwie habe ich das Gefühl das bei den Wera Schlüsseln hier das ganze etwas besser funktioniert als wie bei anderen Inbusschlüsseln. Die Form vom Kopf schaut bei Wera auch leicht anders aus. Auch hier konnte ich einen kleinen Nachteil feststellen. Bei kleineren Linsenflachkopfschrauben wo der Innensechskant nicht sehr tief ist dreht man mit den Wera Schlüsseln ab einen bestimmten Kippwinkel schon durch. Dies dürfte durch die etwas rundere Form vom Kopf passieren. Ich konnte das bei den Größen 1,5-2,5 feststellen. Fazit: ====== Ein nicht gerade billiges Inbusschlüssel Set aber auf alle Fälle sein Geld wert! Durch die sehr gute Verarbeitung macht das Arbeiten damit wirklich Spass und man hat dadurch auch sicher einen wahrscheinlich jahrzehntelangen Begleiter in der Werkzeugkiste :)

Stanco delle chiavi a brugola economiche che si spezzano e si deformano ero alla ricerca di qualcosa di definitivo. Wera, azienda di indubbia qualità propone un set di chiavi a brugola con testa sferica davvero interessante. Come si presentano: Le chiavi sono raccolte in un contenitore di plastica nera pieghevole ed assicurato tramite una leva verde, le dimensioni delle chiavi sono riportate su entrambi i lati del contenitore, anche quando questo si trova in posizione aperta. E' presente un foro sul raccoglitore, probabilmente per poterlo appendere. Non è presente invece nessun dispositivo per aggancio alla cintura. Sono 9 chiavi in totale, misura 1.5 - 2 - 2.5 - 3 - 4 - 5- 6 - 8 -10. La dimensione totale è abbastanza importante come vediamo nelle foto. Il metallo di costruzione sembra davvero ottimo, le rifiniture sono perfette, la testa a sfera inferiore presenta delle zigrinature che migliorano la presa, ottima precisione. Le brugole sono ricoperte da una gomma colorata. Utilizzo: La prima cosa che noto e che non mi piace è la resistenza che oppongono all' estrazione dal contenitore, la gomma delle chiavi provoca un attrito eccessivo con la plastica e prendere e riporre al suo posto le chiavi è difficoltoso. Ottima invece la sensazione della gomma durante l' utilizzo, il corpo è a sezione circolare e non esagonale come nelle chiavi economiche, questo permette un' agevole rotazione della chiave durante l' utilizzo. Le chiavi sono piuttosto lunghe ed il più delle volte è un bene. Comodissima ed efficace la testa a sfera, aiuto moltissimo nei casi in cui la vite a brugola è in posizione scomoda. il metallo è molto resistente e rigido e non da mai l' impressione di arrivare ad un punto critico a che se fortemente sollecitato. La precisione di accoppiamento è esemplare, ma questo ci aspettiamo da Wera. Pro: Qualità, precisione, robustezza. Contro: Non scorrono all' interno del raccoglitore, molto fastidioso. Conclusioni: Sono costose rispetto ai concorrenti ma spesso si trovano delle offerte vantaggiose e reali, la qualità è al top e sono decisamente da 5 stelle.
