Delicious, convenient and ready in the microwave in 90 seconds!!!
I was pleasantly surprised!! Previously tried Starkist's product. It has no texture and looked like baby food. The Hereford Taco Filling, on the other hand, is crumbly and the seasoning was perfect. I wanted more heat so I just put a few shakes of Sriracha. I made 2 tacos for my lunch today and they were delicious!! I love this product and have placed a Subscribe & Save order. Thank you for this product. I love tacos and now I can have them whenever I want them!!!!!!

Tastes Better than it Looks
coming out of the package, the taco filling is very unappetizing. But, after breaking up with a fork, and heating up, it looks more like taco filling is supposed to look. While it it tastes pretty good, I was surprised that it was on the mild side. So, I fixed that by adding about a half a package of taco filling to it. But what I don't understand, Hereford cattle were bred in England, and do very well in the midwestern United States. Yet, this comes from Argentina. And because of this, and the supplier in Chicago, the 2 year of sustainable shelf life, is closer to 18 months. Why can't a company in the US produce the same thing?

Fast and easy
I add some refried beans and we have ready made tacos. So easy and they taste good!

Meh, doesn't really taste very good and is super greasy
I got this because I love to have things on hand to just whip up a quick snack or meal. These are . . . weird. The packaging is fine, but you kind of squeeze the meat out like you do your toothpaste out of a tube, and once it's out, you will notice a LOT of congealed fat. I'm not an anti-fat nut by any stretch of the imagination; I know our bodies require some amount of it to function properly. Here, though, there is so much fat that if you do not remove it before heating, it will drip all over the place (and I wrap them up in large tortillas, there should be no leakage). So pick off the great globs of fat before heating. Second, is the flavor, and this is, of course, personal and subjective, but to me, they are not very good tasting (and certainly not for the price!). I added more taco seasoning, but I still can't get past the weird "flat" and "blah" flavor of these. In a pinch, they're great to add variety to your meals or for a very expensive break from just browning taco meat yourself (with much much better flavor), but honestly, I won't be ordering these again. (That said, I just LOVE this company's meatballs! So YUM!).

Good taste
I enjoyed this. It has a good taste and is easy to use. Tacos, burritos, salad and dips.

Inedible Slop
This slop is so bad that I felt I was risking my health by attempting to eat it. Each package contains a slab of orange, waxy grease mixed with something that looks like you would find in a child's diaper. It refuses to break apart when heated, and must be "forked" to get it to separate. The taste is sickening to the point of nauseating. I thought I might salvage some of it by mixing it with regular ground meat destinied to become taco filling, which resulted in a pound of ground meat being ruined. I had to throw out 80% of the order as a total right-off. DO NOT BUY THIS SICKENING STUFF!

My favorite Hereford product
So far, my favorite Hereford product. Not too spicy and not too plain. Works great without all the time preparing taco filling myself. Once heated, it does need to be stirred well to look like taco filling. It's pretty compressed in the pack but is great once broken up. A definite plus when wanting tacos or nachos quickly.

fairly good taste
great to keep on hand if i just w ant a couple of tacos, i don't have to make a mess in the kitchen. however, this stuff is a big too greasy (fatty) for me. i put it out on paper towels and warmit up, until most grease is soaked into the paper tow3els. then i use it and it's goof.
